I loved the part about the ram's horn and matching the melody with the emotion of the key words. Nice!

Thanks, Matt! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm sure you've thought about that kind of thing when writing songs, too!

@@MelodyofLilies Can't say I have, I just like learning what other creatives do and try my best (but usually fail) to imitate. I just going to get started writing a new album, so look out for a sloppy imitation of a ram's horn or something in my future song melodies :-)

OMG I know that voice!!! I just happened to wake up after falling asleep with the computer on and went to shut it down and BING up pops this song through my messenger! Heidi that was so very beautiful! Everything about it, the song name, content, melody, thought process, ram's horn aspect (which there's a funny story about that I will tell you one day IN PERSON), the tonic expression of the word release, the quality of the video production (I think the gain may have been a little high though sounded to me like it was clipping but I haven't run it through an audio editor for analysis - but always better a little too high than too low that's for sure), your living response to the situation you faced, and most of all just simply the quality and clarity in hearing and listening to your voice. Why does hearing your voice mean so much to me? Because one, I totally remember that voice, I have sung with that voice before many times but that's not entirely it. It demonstrates to me the transformative power of Jesus Christ our Lord because the Heidi I knew was a shy young woman, and the Heidi I hear now is a powerful, melodic, intelligent and simple person who dearly loves the Lord and has laid down her soul-life (psuche) to be resurrected in life (zoe) in order that God's eternal purpose may be fulfilled in her as well as others. I have forgotten so much of my life - I have been through so much hardship and turmoil being apart from the Body of Christ - and also been exposed to so much darkness and distress. This has really strengthened and deepened my understanding not only of God, but of the world and the Satanic system in which we are in but not of. When I left Berkeley I had lost faith in my God and felt a lot of resentment because after sacrificing everyone and everything for Him I felt abandoned and blamed that on God. I felt that if God was real, and if God really loved me, there was no explanation suitable why He would treat someone willing to give all to Him so poorly in so many ways. I realize now that all my experiences have shaped me, and have both hardened and softened me. I don't regret a thing because if I didn't go through what I went through I would not be who I am, and where I am, today. There are a lot of other Christians who do not know nor understand God's economy (oikonomia). Times are changing and I will leave you with a quote taken from a study published by the AEA (American Economic Association) on the greek word, oikonomia: "For example, both Ancient Greek oikonomia and contemporary economics study human behavior as a relationship between ends and means which have alternative uses. However, while both approaches hold that the rationality of any economic action is dependent on the frugal use of means, contemporary economics is largely neutral between ends, while in ancient economic theory, an action is considered economically rational only when taken towards a praiseworthy end. Moreover, the ancient philosophers had a distinct view of what constituted such an end-specifically, acting as a philosopher or as an active participant in the life of the city-state." Quote Reproduced Under the Fair Use Act, Section 107 of the Copyright Act Taken from: www.aeaweb.org/articles?id=10.1257/jep.30.1.225 Please continue on with your heavenly musical talents... but I have three questions: 1) Around 4:20 in this video I hear what I assume to be you playing a ukulele (possibly a mandolin, but doesn't sound like a steel string as much as a nylon strung instrument) and in the video I see guitars, and you even mention guitar later when the it slips out of your grip due to having no strap. Which is it - ukulele, mandolin, or guitar? 2) Would you be interested at some point in the future if I could interview you by phone or some other audio/video or audio only means to be published through my soon to be released fictionalized fantasy based on reality blog? I won't publish it without first allowing you to review. 3) Do you still remember the song that you composed on the piano and taught me, Christ Loved the Church? I still remember how to play it mostly but am not entirely sure about the words. Do you have an audio recording for that and also do you know where to get a copy of the grey book? (Ok, technically that was 4 questions but I like 3's and will consider this a compound 2-part 3rd question... lol). Anyways so glad to hear and see what you're up to. Please say hello to any of the saints for me and let them know that I am about to jump on a white horse in spirit and lead an army of riders into a battle which has already been won!

Thanks a lot. It's all so familiar. Your song goes around the globe:) And here's this song in Ukrainian: It was not an easy task:)
