I bought one of these today after watching your video!! I made a card for each resident of the local nursing home this past Christmas. It broke my heart as I watched some of them struggle with opening the card. They won't have that problem with the Valentine's cards!!! Thank you for sharing!!

Shouldn't that punch be small envelopes or can it be used for 2-3 inches? so if the envelope is small, it may not be possible to use it. Please tell me if there is any other function.
@HeyNayHey2 жыл бұрын
this punch can be used for many different size of envelopes. I'm not sure the smallest it would make as this video was done 6 years ago

HI Nadine, thanks for the tutorial,I have one, and used it to make a notch on a a 4x6' & 5 x 7" envelope size so far, but I 'm having trouble with a 6x6" size envelope, when placed in the middle, the flaps are too short. does anyone have any ideas, how to solve this problem, I will keep experimenting , and i will report back if i solve the puzzle.....;)

I bought the notcher yesterday & like the idea very much. However, I think I will return it to Michael's. I usually make my envelopes with cardstock & it's difficult to make it close due to the thickness. Also the notches are very close to the edge so if you mess with them too much they could tear. I don't care for the fact that you don't use adhesive at all. It's just very weird how it works. Reclosing it would be tricky & would most likely cause it to tear. I'd like it better if you could add adhesive easily to the bottom part. You could not send this in the mail as it would not stay shut.

+Mary B Yes all true points that i've found to be annoying as i've used it more often!

saw on another review that your best bet would be to get the 2 corners together and punch only once,

How kewl NayNay! so how do you send something like this? just address and stamp or do you seal up the sides somehow? Its seems secure but you know how fast processing letter sorting lines go at the postal service before it reaches the mail bags? I would worry the envelope would get torn in processing? TYFS xo, Cynthia

Cynthia This is actually going to go in a box with some goodies. To me, it's purely decoration. LOL I don't think the paper I used would hold up in the regular mail. I'm sure if you used something sturdier, adhered the sides and flaps closed & added extra postage you could actually send it through the mail.

Thank you for the tutorial. You can make the video much shorter by just showing how to use the gadget and less talking on unnecessary things.
