Discrepancies in the Answer Key of CODE B, which have been mentioned below subject-wise and according to MCQs numbers: **PHYSICS** Q5- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY According to KPK text book on Page 159 of 1st year, in the topic "Banking of roads", it is clearly written that the force of friction provides the centripetal force to move in a circular path. Q13- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY According to Page 263 of KPK textbook of 1st year under the heading of "temperature", it is written that increase in the speed of sound is 0.6 m/s for every 1⁰C rise in temperature. Q22- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY The question being asked is about time during maximum height in projectile, which should be T= 2v sin/g rather than the key given which is for the total time of flight. Q31- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY According to page 6 of KPK textbook of 2nd year, it is stated that relative permittivity of metals is infinity, which is also represented by the table. So no correct option is given Q40- OUT OF SYLLABUS Geiger Muller counter wire is not in syllabus as prescribed by PMDC, and is also not a part of national text book syllabi. **CHEMISTRY** Q80- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY According to federal text book board of 2nd year on page 153, under "acid catalyzed dehydration of alcohol", it is written clearly that dehydration is what leads to ether formation. Q85- MULTIPLE CORRECT OPTIONS According to page 243 of federal text book of 1st year, it is written under the topic of "exothermic reactionary" that burning of coal is exothermic. Q90- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY According to Punjab text book of 1st year on page 291, the table given represents that hydrogen gas will be discharged at cathode by the electrolysis of aqueous NaCl given in question. Q100- MULTIPLE CORRECT OPTIONS Both option A and C are correct since 1Joule= 1 Nm (newton meter) *"ENGLISH** Q112- NO CORRECT OPTION None of the options given is grammatically correct. Q125- WRONG ANSWER IN KEY The correct answer should be past continuous, since in the sentence the word "sitting" represents continuous action. **BIOLOGY** Q177- OUT OF SYLLABUS The entire chapter of "chromosomes and DNA" was not included in the syllabus described by PMDC.
