for the ecua/colo round, two things are worth noting that could've helped: a) there is a variant of the ecuadorean flag that doesn't include the coat of arms, and it's used pretty frequently within the country itself; b) at 5:01, the sign you zoom in on has the logo of the ecuadorean province of manabí in the top left

I love how everybody (including me) trying Wrong Country Challenges just accepts that you can't guess in the ocean next to the country. would be clearly beneficial eg at New Zealand. But nobody does it

010 are Korean mobile numbers, which are quite commonly posted on small businesses. Landline area codes for the southeast corner would actually be 05x--difficult to tell from a zoomed out map whether you were in Daegu proper (053), Gyeongnam (055) or Gyeongbuk (054). In Korea, area codes always start with 0 and local phone numbers never do!

On the first game, the opponent guessed right country but should've won. The game mode would be exciting if you can risk guessing right country to win but then still get the wrong continent punishment if you didn't get enough points to have won.

11:15 I think it's only the area codes that are relevant, but in this case they were omitted. I'm pretty sure you can find the 0XX-600s anywhere in SK and in this case it would be 053 or 055.
