There is an adjustment period. You will have some foot and leg pain at first, but eventually you will build up your muscles.

Super helpful video. Thorough water resistance design for any device bearing electronic components, routinely tested by manufacturer, should be a standard. Clear difference between wheels that have it, and those that don’t. Would be great if we could regularly give our wheels a “car wash” and not have to worry about anything.

Begode is listening and learning but the RS19 is less waterproof than their older wheels? As an RS19 rider, I'm glad I no longer live in a rainy climate. Great video. It's interesting to see how the wheel is put together and will be a useful reference if and when I should ever need to disassemble mine. Thank you.

I recently got a Monster Pro. A nice wheel but not at all waterproof. I'd be worried even in a light rain. Waterproofing it for rain would be a moderately difficult job but defenately not impossible.

As the water was That dirty, the water ingress is probably from the the two halfs not beeing siliconed over the tire, Riding in the rain makes the tire splash a lot of water against the inner shell and then it sips through. Thats actually happening since the msuper v3....on some msx versions it was better, but seams they are back at the start now.

Good job wearing protection gear, it could have been much different without the gear. As for the wheel, it appears that it is not designed or built for wet weather.

My comment will look surprising, but I believe the RS-19 is the best wheel you can produce with these physical constraints. Indeed, there are issues to be fixed but the simplicity of the design and performance make it far better than other wheels in the market of the same category. Sure the batteries can be improved with a better BMS, fuses can be added and water-proofing can be done but the simplicity of the design makes it reasonably feasible and the riding feel is incomparable (IMO).

3 years ago but I have an issue. My buddy recently got one as his first wheel, hit a bump/hole or something and his wheel doesn’t show up in the app or on eucworld. Pretty sure the Bluetooth module got knocked loose or is broken. Do you know where that is in the wheel? He’s about to bring it over and I fix my Lynx and him hopefully fix his

Did they remove the (noisy) fan in the process of adding the motherboard cover and an extra heatsink on the inside? That would be nice to get the wheel more quiet. The cover might also quieten the typical 8kHz high pitched whine. I also wonder about the difference in temperature between the old and new model as a result. Really great video Adam 👍👏

@@mr_wrongway thanks for the reply! I'm noise sensitive and this high pitched whine is one of the reasons why I wouldn't buy a recent Begode wheel. The fan can always be replaced by better ones. In the meantime, I'm grateful for how quiet (and efficient) the KS-16X controller is 🙏

I was thinking, to mitigated the issues with waterproofing, because we can't just simple cover everything with silicone (heat mitigation problem), how about a layer of nail polish? 2. Since you teardowned the hub motor, i would add a 10ml of ferrofluid statorade to help with cooling. Does anyone know what's the diameter of main bearing ring? I would like to know what would be a cost to replace it with some high quality one from sks.

You can clamp the wheel down is the right places and hammer the dent out the same way an auto body shop hammers & pulls dents out. Use a blow torch and curved piece of wood or curved steel auto body tools. You can buy a set of auto body hammers with several curved dollies for only $30... Also you can easily weld the aluminum/magnesium wheel using a propane torch and alumi-weld rods. WATCH - DIY straightening a bent alloy rim in your driveway. Your wheel is smaller so it should be easier. Once you learn how to do it, you could then repair wheels for a side job.

Boy am on the fence on buying either this RS ht or the hs am 220 pounds maybe you suggest which one be better for me first wheel want to grow into this I ride 1000cc motor bikes so speed is loved. I also need your advice on which wheel v11 or the gotway looks durability it is low on the RS but not sure because parts on v11 which one carries parts access ability in USA for replacement. Your advice is greatly needed am looking up to you keep the channel going man!

Im not your weight but for me I would choose ht. For me acceleration is more fun than travelling at a higher speed and also I live in a hilly area so torque is appreciated. I would hate to spend 2k+ at can''t go up hills. Take my advice w a grain of salt i've only ridden electric skateboards and also trying to buy my first euc.

Ive been thinking a lot about this, why cant wheel manufacturers sell the first 50, 20 wheels or whatever of any new model or any change at a significantly discounted price. And those people that purchase these wheels have to record the characteristics of the rides and the problems the encounter and so on. Then the manufactures can take this information and make the wheels better and nobody's pissed off that they paid full price for an unreliable wheel. People would be happy that they got to experience the latest wheels at a discounted price. We all would get better wheels and less people would feel frustrated. Why are we paying full price for wheels that haven't gone through a sufficient testing process. I think doing something like that we totally flip our perception and we will ultimately get better wheels?

why ride in rain when begode says its not suppose to be ridden. If that RS has an IP rating and there is water ingress then that is really bad. We can just ask begode to make IP rated euc. Just like inmotion. Before your Veteran's bearing broke but you blame your riding style. But on other eucs its different.

RS is worse than poor quality msx, low quality, no hydroilosolition, problem with bearings, see how easily it got off the engine, too much clearances, product not worth the price and most importantly, no warranty, the unicycle goes to the garbage in one year. gotway does not accept complaints about this scrap

Gotway continues bullshit production. What for they put all that covers? To hide the fact of moisture and dirt getting on critical parts and wires? They turned the right battery but didn’t put adhesive on proper sides, and bms board is now on inner position of the wheel case. They haven’t refined the product, they just take your money for doing the job of testing their bad decisions.

Begode wheels are so stupidly poorly designed and low quality. It's kind of appalling that they are getting away with asking the same prices as the competition just because they "perform". There's no excuse to have abysmal IP rating when you are making something that is meant to be used outside.

So let me get this right. One crashed the wheel in water & surprised! surprised! there's water everywhere. The shell didn't disintegrate so its baddd Begode. Now I'm not sayin its not GW/BG's fault but didn't they specifically state NOT to ride in rain/wet conditions? If we really must, isn't there such an item called waterproof tape? I guess its bad GW/BG for not including it. Lets bash GW/BG for what it does but not what it didn't do esp since GW/BG specifically says not to do it. So analogically I guess ok to bring marijuana with me to other countries bcos my country allows it when said other country specifically states DO NOT & if they arrest me, I'll just blame them. C'mon man, lets try to be fair. Don't buy a GW/BG if one doesn't like it but lets not blame them for all the world's ills. Just me $0.02

I agree with you, but i also seal my RS HS also put drain holes for the bearing and i will do the same for my HT coming this week !! I don't ride when it rain but sometime there is still water on the road when you come back after a small rain... But yeah Gotway say don't ride it in rain but if you do then do your own IP rating, put bumper in case you crash so the shell won't bend and lets the water in...etc you know what i mean
