Just did mine. 3400 miles. 2020 WRX. The car is ridiculously awesome now. Goodbye gas mileage... :)
@esg_zom33192 жыл бұрын
The difference is night and day. I didn’t really enjoy driving the car that much before I installed the accessport due to how unhappy it felt, but afterwards it just inhibits so much confidence. It feels so smooth and linear. This is how the car should have came from factory. City driving is also notably less annoying, because that constant cycle of 1st-2nd-stop repeat wasn’t so annoying and the throttle just feels so much more linear. However if you still want that aggressive jump then just give it some beans and it’ll feel even faster than stock. The pedal just makes more sense and 50% throttle to 100% throttle actually feels like it makes twice the difference. And the readings? The car felt happy. On stock tune my DAM was sitting at 0.68 but after switching to stage 1 it quickly went back to 1 and I was experiencing little to no knock on hard pulls. I love it, I will NEVER go back to stock tune. I will pro-tune however

No issues yet.. 🤞 the 5 rules to live by when you own a Subaru: 1. Oil changes atleast every 4k miles (Motul efe) 2. Don't get into boost, even a little bit, until you hit 185 oil temp. Every single time you turn the car on. 3. Only use trusted gas stations, Shell or citgo (93 if possible) 4. "Do I need a tune for..." YES. (Other than catback exhaust) 5. Get protuned or etuned as soon as possible. (Not number chasing, a strong reliability-focused tune) *Bonus rule* don't pull from below 3k rpm (other than 1st gear)

@WRXGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. Assuming you have a WRX, you'd need to upgrade your fuel pumps, and maybe fuel lines in order to run full e85. If you're doing an e60 blend, you could get away with only a low pressure fuel pump. I still think it's safer to add the flex fuel kit so you don't have to worry about the exact amount of ethanol and can still run pump gas if needed.

@WRXGarage4 жыл бұрын
Knock feedback is a live monitor for knock frequencies being picked up by that microphone as well as the highest and lowest value seen during the trip. Does is work with the 2020 wrx? Or only the Sti?
@WRXGarage4 жыл бұрын
I think there's a specific product code for the 18-20 years, and also separate ones for the WRX and STI because they're different engines, but yeah!!
@WRXGarage4 жыл бұрын
Correction, COBB has only released it for the 2020 sti but will probably have it for 2020 WRX soon

Can i do this myself or i need a tune up specialist?

You can do it yourself! All built into the Accessport. Just need to follow the instructions.

I installed my AP for Stage 1 but now notice that turbo max psi is around 5. Should I re-do it? Everything stock.

will it affect the tune if i remove the accessport from my car so its not gonna get stolen ?
@WRXGarage4 жыл бұрын
Once you've actually installed the tune and verified that it's working after driving around, you can unplug the AP and take it out of the car if you want. Just keep in mind that the AP is now married to your car only and can't be used on any other car unless you remove the tune from yours first and unmarry them.

how do yk what map to use ?
@WRXGarage Жыл бұрын
Each tune/map is designed for use with specific parts. Stage 1 is no mods, 1+ is intake, 2 is jpipe, 2+ is jpipe and intake, etc..

What does high and low mean
@WRXGarage4 жыл бұрын
High wastegate means the car is allowed to overboost to a higher psi. Normal wastegate (low) is what you should always use. High wastegate should only be used if you aren't able to hit target boost with normal wastegate tune
