Now it looked right when you were hooked in and got some speed 👍then just push the front foot into footstrap 👌

Dear Stephen, you do the waterstart very well. I'm still struggeling with the waterstart. I saw in your video, that you are using both feet. My windsurf trainer showed my only the version with 1 leg on the board. Would you please be so kind to explain me how your version "2 legs on board" works ? Greetings from (cold ond wet) germany 😊

I think you get better leverage when it's light wind to only do the back first and swim the front leg beside the board, leaning your head and body over the board. I'll use 2 when well powered or if very overpowered will waterstart in the straps and just hook and go without standing up to use my low weight as leverage straps as control against catapult and to get planing immediately.

Thanks ! But where do i place the legs if i use the 2-leg-waterstart ? E.g. back leg as usuall for waterstart and front leg on the rail ?

@@tiboregresi9295 I'd say it really depends on the board and the volume, etc. You'd have to experiment. But really probably stick to back leg only for a while until you get it going, otherwise you'll just confuse things

Thank's a lot ! I will try it.... ...if it becomes warmer here in Germany. By the way, i like your own youtube-channel also very much !! Kind regards Tibor

My coach initially started us with both feet on the board. But to do it correctly it should be one foot on the board. I do it both but find having both feet on the board helps get the board in the right orientation to the wind, which is critical. I'm still learning my water starts so my technique may change.
