In the beggining, it's pretty cool how she talks about her spaceship, Helios, saying it didn't survive or that she is abandoning it, as if it were an entity rathen than a thing. After beating the game, it's pretty nice to look back at those things with different eyes. They did such an amazing job with this game.

I've re-watched the gameplay and lore dived on this game *often* and cannot wait to get a ps5 to afford it and have my own turn xD it's deffo something I returnal to for a fresh perspective on the lore and symbology.

Just read the description of the game and right away I'm reminded of "Edge of Tomorrow" with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Very good movie, imo. 😊

Funny you should say that. I've played dozens of hours of Returnal by now, and watched quite a few videos and commented on a few. I watched Edge of Tomorrow years before Returnal and was never reminded of it. I saw it again tonight and only then made the connection and thought of Returnal. The first video I bring up of Returnal and there is your comment mentioning the film 🤗
