Vulpe your most likely to use your phone everyday so when you do, face id learns your face each time. lets say you dont have a mustache and you just put on a fake one, face id might not recognize you. but if you unlock your phone with face id, while your mustache is growing, then it will recognize you. puberty doesnt come over night, soo your phone will still recognize you

To be fair, Touch ID was never as secure because there is a 1 in 50,000 thousand chance that someone elses fingerprint would be close enough to yours to unlock it. By comparison, (unless you have an identical twin) face ID has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance that there is another human being with a face close enough to unlock your phone.

If you grow a beard over time, it will recognise you. After shaving off, since your face will go through a drastic change, it won't. However, you can just unlock it with your passcode again and change your Face ID. That easy.

It will still work if you grew a moustache or a beard.. It learns ur face, and dnt worry about shaving ur moustache or beard off, because it will recognize you.
