The conman will fill the government with other conmen. We know Trump doesn't believe in what he says. We know Trump is in it for Trump, the policies are just talking points. We know Trump stands for nothing at all, except what benefits him in the moment. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is that some of the people that Trump installs won't be conmen. Not all of them, but some of them will be true believers of their Christo-Fascist Hellscape. And those people that Trump will install will still be there after both Trump and Biden are dead and gone. Trump and the modern Maga party have already filled the government with enough rot that will take a generation to clear out. Judges and government workers at all levels that are steering us towards the iceberg because they think they can be in control of the wreckage. If Trump gets a second term now what he leaves behind won't be able to be fixed in our lifetimes. Biden isn't a good candidate. He doesn't debate well. And he's slower than he used to be. But a President isn't the only thing that matters. Debates aren't the only thing that matters. A President is only as good as the administration they bring onboard and the appointments they give. I trust the people that Biden surrounds himself and listens to far more than the people that Trump surrounds himself with.

They are both ultra old and declining, but Biden declined the fastest over the last four years. It’s really worrying. If he struggles now, how will he be in 2028? Will an opponent of the USA take advantage of that? We need one big, one day primary and have a new fresh proposition for America.
@Mehwhatevr3 ай бұрын
I don't think the president has enough real power to be taken advantage of by our opponents. The president seems to have a lot of power, but that's only because Congress is too cowardly and weak to do their jobs so they let the president do it for them. Can't really blame the president for Congress lacking a backbone and letting the president do their job.

@TheWeirdKitty3 ай бұрын
How about we don't do that. Changing everything at the last minute to accommodate the incomprehension of people who adamantly refuse to acknowledge anything until it's utterly undeniable isn't what we need at all. What we really need is for Americans to take off their rose tinted glasses and see things for what they really are. Stop listening to mainstream media and pay attention with your own eyes. Trump is more than capable, he put the people above all, money was staying in the country, we were respected by the world, and he can't be bought. The exact opposite of biden, and what we really need from a president.

I don't fully understand the US political process that resulted in these two candidates. It shows how the process is completely unfit for selecting the best candidates for president. I heard in so many American movies about the "founding fathers", but for people who do not realize, the American political system was the copied and improved English political system that was in the 18th century. The US Constitution is the result of that improvement. At that time, they didn't have anything else to use as a reference. This is why, I would say, in the last 50 years, there has been a continuous erosion of US political decisions. The US political system needs a massive overhaul.
