WSR Spring Gala 2023

Well the sun shone for both days I was there. Friday morning saw me on the Quantock Belle for breakfast.Superb. I can heartily recommend! Back up behind the Double Headed QB before heading off lineside for the rest of the day. Day 2 and we arrived at Churchlands Bridge to plenty of fog! This cleared quite quickly however and the reat of the day was sunshine once again. The Saturday ended with our Stogumber Staff and FOSS members BBQ. As always our SM Phil Hall cooked up a storm, and the ladies provided plenty to eat also including various desserts to die for! A wonderful 2 days, all in all and I hope you enjoy the video!!

Hello 6024KE1, lovely to have met you at Castle Hill. I'm amazed I memorised your KZbin name, but so glad I did, because your filming and editing is superb. ... and you have manages to do it so quickly. Thank you so much for sharing. It's great to be able to see some of the locations that I didn't have the chance to visit this time. PS: And your microphone technique at Castle Hill worked superbly, I didn't hear the road noise at all, but the engine sounded great. Best Wishes to you.

Excellent footage, well edited. Good to see many around. From distant Oz, I travelled on this tremendous line last year. Ths hots (including the tele one) at Blue Anchor were especially enjoyable as I've spent some time there.
