For those who don't know Serena had just won the singles title 45 minutes before this double match final. Serena was in a battle with Jessica Pegula. After this match, you can tell she was tired but she gave everything she had to go up against 2 young fresh young players. Still yet a good match to watch over all.>>>>>>

Honestly I think it wasn’t that. She has the stamina, she knew that Caroline had been asking for a doubles for years. They went and just had fun, didn’t care about losing or winning. Just having fun before Caroline retires.

Did you see the singles match? Serena had to fight for it. Then to have only 45 mins to play your doubles match. Serena isn't 19. When I was younger I could play tennis all day. From sun up till sun down. Now give me 3 good sets and I need at least 1 to 2 hours before I play another match in the SUN.>>>>>

Serena is a champ and wants to win every time she steps on the court. She and Wozniacki played hard and just got beaten by the better team. Can't take a thing away from Muhammad and Townsend. Those ladies are like doubles specialists, just remarkable to watch their tactics and netplay, agility, etc.
