WTEN Commercial Breaks (October 18, 1988; with Sign-off)

Taken from North & South, WTEN's 11pm newscast, Nightline, Sweethearts and Wipeout. WTEN (channel 10) in Albany, NY is an ABC affiliate and has been since 1977.
Both of the latter two shows did not last long, and no wonder why they were shelved at the wee morning hours before sign-off. Wipeout is not to be confused with the ABC show of the same name. Also, speaking of ABC, Roseanne premiered that day on the network; it lasted for nine seasons, and was rebooted in 2018. It now exists as The Conners, which is entering its final season on the network.

Oh wow. I've never seen this sign off! The one I was used to seeing as a kid was the choir singing "God Bless America" with scenes from the region.
