jessica D the retinoid is for acne and fine lines. It is amazing! I have very sensitive skin and was prescribed retin a when I was younger but it burned my skin. This does not. You only put it on at night and make sure you wear sunscreen daily with it. I use it, the buffet, and the niacinamide (another only at night product) and they have changed my skin so much. I really like this new primer as well.

Yes, Jessica, retinoid is amazing to treat acne prone skin and also ageing signs (wrinkles, dark spots). It's a kind of vitamin A that is scientifically proven to improve the skin's condition. The most potent formulas are only available by doctor's prescription (like Retin-A) but over the counter products do the work pretty well too. This one that I mentioned from The Ordinary is amazing and super cheap, totally worth trying!

I've been using The Ordinary products for a couple of yrs now, the silicone primer is AMAZING I ran out just b4 going on holiday last summer so had no choice but to buy smashbox primer &honestly it wasn't half as good I only used it on holiday then quickly re-bought The ordinary on my return . The smashbox 1 is still sitting there barely used. I just totally love you. I am African American and you are the only makeup artist I've seen who has said to align your eyebrows according to the length of your nose. Silicone is not comedogenic in itself, so it's trapping something else in your pores and that other thing is comedogenic and breaking you out. From what I could gather.

JessicaRe yeah I do, big pores, indented acne scars and some lines and wrinkles. It leaves like an invisible, soft layer over your skin so everything just goes over it like it's even, smooth canvas. It makes these 3 wrinkles I hate disappear for 12 hours. It is the identical ingredients to one of the Smashbox ones at a 1/5 of the price. It also reminds me of miracle blur. Seriously, best find ever, all i use. Its like 8x the size of a primer at a fraction. It doesn't cake at all but is thick, in a good way. I use it by itself if I don't have time to do make up, it smooths everything out that much!

I've been using this for the past 3 years, same tube. I also have one in my freelance kit and I use it on everyone. It's good for me and I'm sensitive combo/dry and dehydrated. I use it on my super oily girls too. It's a miracle.

Yes the chafing gel is definitely good, it is a spot on dupe for the Smashbox one everyone loves. It really blurs and fills your pores well!

The best primer remains the Boots Primer at £5. I have a very oily skin and it makes my foundation looking fabulous and mat the all day without touch up

Its great to see you review these, I got my dispatch notification from Victoria Health yesterday, I ordered back in November but they had stock issues! I absolutely love the other ordinary products, the niacinimide, lactic acid, hylauronic acid, matrixyl, theres more Ive forgotten! My skin is so much better since Ive been using all of these products, and I find my makeup stays put so much longer and looks so much better now too. I know theres stock issues, but I would recommend to order and stick with them even though theres delays as they do ship as soon as the have the products and they really ARE worth the wait.

I got my products from them 1 week ago, I brought retinol and both primers and I got my stuff within a week of ordering. I love both primers!!!! They are good for those who have textured skin and oily skin ! They are similar to smash box primer just $20 cheaper. I love them!!

I find myself always looking for the cheaper makeup. Believe me a lot of it is a lot better than they more expensive exotic makeup. I can definitely say in this age people put it out there and don't necessarily care about the product and. I have four kids and I definitely can't waste money!!
