The only thing upcoming iv noticed is that the tank lid cover may become a problem to open in future. Is a common issue on MK7's, but fixable through youtube videos. I have a custom exhaust and it makes incredible deep sound! Videos on my channel! If you buy any VW or VAG Group car get OBD Eleven to scan your car for errors & fix them through your phone! 👍

I ended up with a TTE470 turbo on my 290 Leon and with R888’s it managed low 4 seconds 0-60mph. Tried to pull me into every hedge when overtaking though!😬😂

I’m at about 320 in my MK7 GTI. I’m running an EQT stage 2 on engine and DSG on a Cobb v3 accessport with integrated engineering CA intake, CTS turbo back, CTS turbo inlet pipe, and a mishimoto front mount. There’s so much more I wanna do. I wanna get bigger fuel injectors, upgraded HPFP and do an IS38 swap. But I feel like the best next move before all that is beef up my internals. I love these cars.

I’ve kept my MK7 GTI Sport bone stock since I bought it but man it’s tough keeping it that way knowing what it’s capable of. I kept it stock because I modified my MK6 which accelerated wear on things like engine mounts, subframe bolts, bushings etc. You end up chasing your tail trying to get everything tight like you remember it being before. But it was fast and fun so no regrets!

Just some info, the ea888 gen3 in the clubsport is from the mk7 golf R. Not mk7.5 which has 310hp. The clubsport is detuned and doesn't run 290hp unless it is in 3rd gear or higher for 10 secs at a time. Basically it is a seat Leon cupra R with less power most of the time. Super happy to see a monster clubsport on the internet. Makes me wanna upgrade the turbo.

Clearly you are clueless, the gen 3 ea888 engine is on mk7 GTI/R and mk7.5 GTI/R. Difference in tune makes +-20hp. Both GTI and R share the same engine, having different valves, different turbos and in some states, different gearboxes 6/7 speed, without getting in too many detail.

Just wanted to correct you on the build info. There was 1000 uk planned but only just over 500 were ordered. There’s less than 10,000 worldwide. The clubsport S (lighter and more power than the Clubsport) which was only 400 worldwide and the uk only got 150 of them.

😍 beautiful Edition 40 + club sport. I know it’s a development car and showcasing what can be done to the gti platform. But in real life terms there’s no reason you would have so much horsepower in a front wheel drive car. Ok it might catch a golf r on the top end but who is realistically pinning their car and probably doing twice the speed limit before you start gaining some ground back. Doesn’t grip till 4th or 5th gear. By the time it gets proper traction you are already at license loosing speed. And then your already doing over a ton. Most street races would be well over by then. Not many roads around to do those kind of speeds anymore. Anything north of 3-350 your just spinning, killing tyres. And if it’s damp or wet - forget it. If you’re tuning a car to this much horsepower it has to be awd. Like Jamie has done to the integra. Obviously this is just my opinion. Like I said beautiful car. Would love to own one.

Ive got a manual r running 650bhp and that drives the same coz you have to knock off all traction otherwise it would rip apart transmition..
