The Lions defense has actually been pretty good since they fired their DB coach, although the secondary didn’t have the greatest day today. They’ve also gotten a lot healthier as the season has gone on. They’ve gone 8 straight weeks now without allowing a 100-yard rusher.

Lions defense is not non-existent. Since the Packers game they’ve been one of the better units in the league in terms of points allowed per game. They give up yards but they capitalize big on mistakes and don’t allow a lot of touchdowns in crucial situations. Wilson burned their secondary a few times and yes, that aspect could improve a bit, but some of those were 50/50 balls that just went his way.
