Last time I checked, cats also aren’t magicians or master criminals, and yet they are in this show. These cats are so anthropomorphized that I think it’s reasonable for someone to want to interpret them as having human-like romantic relationships with each other. And, I mean, the female cats all gather around the Rum Tum Tugger and mewl in delight as he hip thrusts into their faces, but no one is complaining about that being sexualized.
