To be fair I’m seeing a high value of fixable problems rather than just a few big problems that would be harder to fix. I trust the players and the coaching staff and I think this shouldn’t be a chemistry thing and Rudy should just know his role. He was not about to score on Scottie because he has no hands and can barely make layups let’s just be honest what type of a player he is. He should just run the offense and continue to set hard screens

I would agree if this wasnt Minnesota. Its guaranteed that something will go wrong in Minnesota. They havent won in Toronto in 20 years! I have seen the Vikings go to NFC Championship Games and bring everyone back the next year (one time, bring in a better QB) and still miss the playoffs the next year. Knicks fan here and this doesn't surprise me. We went on that incredible run last season WITHOUT Julius Randle. Half the fans wanted him to return and half didn't. And he never passed a lob to Mitch Robinson for an easy dunk. He is who he is at this point- someone who can drop 20+ but comes with a lot of flaws.

i didn’t like the attitude of either randle or rudy in that situation. i think randle should’ve given rudy the ball, but to throw away the possession as protest was sooooo bad. that’s something you talk about after the game or during a timeout. then randle whipping a bullet of a pass at rudy’s knees was no better. they both have to be better. at least ant was a leader out there to these two guys that have been in the league longer than him. saw people say it’s the dlo thing all over again and im starting to see it.

What’s happening is that Gobert hasn’t had a good stretch of games since that Phoenix suns playoff series. Denver series hits and he has his kid and KAT and Naz make a bigger impact than him. Dallas series was a disaster for him. The Olympics roll around and he practically was unplayable. Now through 15 games in the regular season, Gobert has been AWFUL offensively and defensively EVERYONE has challenged him and he basically looks old.

The reason why MN is struggling is simple. They got rid of a very very good player in Kat, and replaced him with a good player. They score about the same but everything else Kat is better. Rebounding, turnovers, blocks, 3 ball, etc. One stat that gets ignored is rebounding. Last year between gobert and Kat they avg 21 reb a game together. This yr gobert and randle avg 17. Thats 4 reb we just lost. This is a direct reason why we are losing games.

Knicks fan here…yeah Randle could be frustrating at times. He isnt great during pivotal moments in the game because of his low basketball IQ. His strength is Iso ball in the mid range. If he dribbles more than twice he will either lose the ball or blindly jump in the air for desperate pass. He usually has about 4 turnovers. Also he cant be coached. He knocked away a Knicks assistant coaches laptop during a game. I also think he had most of our young players shook mentally. After separating from Randle look how much better RJ Barrett plays! My guess is to move him to a big market team with veteran leadership. Maybe the Lakers? Idk. Otherwise you will lose him for nothing. But keeping him will lose you Edwards! Pick your poison.

I've been saying this for a couple of years, while Connely has done a good job, his major acquisitions are mostly over 30. So the window was very small. Conley is already done and Gobert is declining. About the only hope is to see if they can trade Donte for a real point guard. But the way he is shooting not sure what we could get for him. If Randle walks at the end of the season we are screwed. The Wolves have never been able to sign free agents so good luck filling that hole.

Kat and Kyle Anderson look for Rudy all the time, sometimes too much but to be a great team you have to share the ball especially in a obvious situation like that. Randels can get that shot anytime he wants. I blame Ant too, he missed a lot of wide open Rudy. Ant should be averaging 3-5 more assist per game if he passes to Rudy more. I would look to move Randels, he a good player but not good enough to ruin the Timberwolves chemistry. Naz should be starting and getting 30-35 minutes. Minot, Shannon Jr, and Dellingham should be getting Randels minutes. Ant ball dominant, rightfully so, Randels ball dominant chemistry killer.

Julius should have thrown rudy the ball. Ruby had scottie barnes pinned with two feet in the restricted area, easy dunk or a foul.
