WTF is Happening at Campsites? 😮 (van life)

Have you noticed this happening whilst you have been doing van life in Europe or vanlife in the UK?
we don't stay at many campsites to be fair, but we paid 50€ for this one and it didn't supply toilet roll
it seems a bit strange, but we have seen this at other camp sites too whilst travelling in our microcamper

I’m delighted you have highlighted this issue Stayed at 3 different camp sites in Italy last week- No Bog Roll nor even soap to wash hands… Then charged 1€ token to have a shower on top of paying 35/ 45 € to park up for the night Please take note others, if travelling thro Italy BRING plenty of loo rolls & Soap

@@ThoseHappyDays I know, I went into panic mode, praying, I wouldn’t get a upset tummy I did have plenty of loo rolls & soap on board, however, toilet block a good 7 mins walk. Also I know we should not be wasting water, however, showers stayed on for 20 seconds at a time when pressed. Then automatic lights in showers no less than 10 seconds Cubicle door then jammed Got eaten alive with mosquitoes It was like a sketch from the Benny Hill show🤣

Personally I bring my own. The amount of germs on toilet rolls passing onto your personal parts of the body.. Don't risk infection 😂

No seat is even worse. I always have toilet roll in my camper, but I've never carried a toilet seat around "just in case".

I find it disgustingly amount campsite cost these days it’s not even the cost for the pitch of vehicle is how many people you have . Not only did they not have toilet roll but no toilet seats either

We've gotten used to no toilet seats...it was if one day they vanished with no memory of their existence

@@ThoseHappyDays It probably means they've been subjected to vandalism. If the toilet seats get ripped off and and the toilet paper gets draped all over the fixed installations, one day you just decide not to replace them.

Campsites in the UK nowadays seem to be so expensive!! No wonder the cost of caravans has dropped by nearly 20% This is why we love our free camping in our camper lol . . 😊

Standard travelers kit. Soap, Razor, Shampoo and toilet paper. If if it's supplied it's usually the cheapest stuff resembling either tracing paper or sandpaper. Maybe it's a shock to Europeans, but look after number 1 by looking after your number 2s LOL.

Some campsites in France don’t supply toilet roll, have toilet seats, or supply soap to wash your hands. I use our own in the van 😉

In Italy they don't like you flushing toilet paper down the toilet. Some places do have toilet rolls but not all and sometimes people will quite happily take the role of toilet roll away with them. And as for no toilet seat it is because no one don't use them and then they get dirty and stained and that is the reason they don't have any. I am sure if you want toilet roll they will give you some
