WTF is... Road Redemption ?

Was thinking about picking this up recently so was going through some old reviews. Lots of nostalgia rewatching this again all these years later. I hope it gives some comfort (however small) to his family that people still greatly enjoy TB's content to this day. May he rest in peace.

It feels like that really addictive arcade cabinet that hid in the back of your local pizza place, and I mean that in the best way possible. Really having fun with it honestly. If you play with a DualShock, the haptics feel awesome!

It's like Road Rash if Road Rash had no self awareness or sense of humour or sense of moderation. But Road Rash was all about fun driving physics and you skid almost the entire time. Sadly this game appears to have no ability to slide so doesn't look all that much fun to play. This game also fails to recognise that flying through the air for miles was actually fun and the punishment of hiking back to your bike was the punishment you deserved for not treating that corner with due respect which is the reason games are less fun now. This game won't be played in a year from now. Road Rash will though because the final level is impossible. You create longevity in your game by having a higher skill cap.

It's a slow burner, at the begining is tough you have to grind a bit to unlock perks to make the game easier and more fair so you can reach higher stages in the game. It's no Road Rash but once you get the hang of it it becomes enjoyable. EA is trash nowadays they would butcher it like they butchered Battlefield.
