4 years later the socks now go for about $5, the badges sell for $10 so surprisingly they have held their value , although as a “collectors items” you would expect the value to go up. That same $15 if invested in common stocks would have become $26 by now, doubling the initial investment. Instead you have a pair of unused (probably dusty) socks and useless badges. Maybe in 100 years these will be of interest to historians but as of now Birdmans point remains valid , this was and still is useless garbage.
