Are the sorc shows really that good? Even in this match where Zwag crushed he barely did any magic DMG. I feel they're more of a troll/clickbait trick than anything. Like buffing maybe 500-1k DMG total with boots seems really weak to me as opposed to blocking 12% of autos or moving super fast, or not being stunned as long etc

Yeah, kayn passive does magic damage, but the dmg "buff" from sorcs is actually not there it was tested by me and others (I know it's not the best source but go into a practice tool game get blue form and build exactly the same build but one with sorcs and one with any other the dmg is the exact same xD)

now in my opinion I have never seen a blue kayn do any thing of worth in low ello games as he become a pure snowball assassin that dies in a team fight of tanks so maybe this passive buff might help with that but I also believe it to be unskilled players playing him and not knowing which kayn to turn into and only pick which ever one they get first. like at champion pick you should already be looking at both team and seeing what is needed or more useful and build around that and not have a dead set I only play this form when his whole gimmick is you pick him and change to what is more useful in team fights.

TBH an ARAM was the objectively correct way to play this for both teams. It's not what either of the assassins would have wanted, but because they both got turbo fed, it's what the teams have to do. Otherwise they just get picked all game. Clumping up is the only way to beat fed assassins.

i feel like zwag missed a lot of W's because blue kayn W's stay in the same place, not like red kayn/normal kayn, if you move anywhere else, your W will stay in place, so for example when you flashed+W, i think you clicked W too fast making it stay behind you and making it not hit

I don't think they needed to buff blue form. I actually felt he was in an alright spot, where if you knew how to use him, he was strong. He's one of those champs that they think is doing poorly, but actually its just because no one plays it properly and its played so little (and a good case of why I think looking at only numbers and %'s should not be the only thing that goes into whether a champ needs to be buffed, or nerfed... etc). Everyone always went red form cuz its easier to play and noob friendly, you were rewarded for just diving in and being tanky, and well... being a nuisance. Also, its easier to just go the red form rather than try to think about which form is better for whatever the games team comps are for the average player since more CC for your team has is never a bad thing. Its not that blue form was weak. Once in that blue moon when you come across a blue kayn that knows what they are doing and knew that they could play it into whatever team comp, its absolutely disgusting to play against cuz they know how to patiently pick the prey off quickly, efficiently, and then get out alive. Average kayn blue player, not really an issue. They are rare and prob will int cuz they don't know how to play it, requires more skill since you aren't going a tanky red form build, you are more squishy. There is less room for error on your part since less health, armor, mr, and so on. So if against good blue kayn player.... may your soul rest in peace.

the thing with blue kayn is that you have to "predict" the movement of the champion bc if you dont hit the w at the start you will be strugglin with the poor damage, i see zwag failing a lot his w bc he put the cursor in the champions instead in the path of movement, if you manage to do that you will be doing a lot of damage red kayn is just q and if you low use r and you are full health again also is better to do a w+q than a q+w bc you can use your q while the w so the combo is w+q+aa+r+w+q and e to escape if is a tank i like playing blue kayn and i think red kayn is just too busted ofc is just my opinion

might be better to take sorc shose with scorch on blue Kayn the new passive is only a 3 sec window with a 8 sec cool down you can then use ult after 10 sec scorch to apple more magic damage. I mean for the most part for blue kayn even a little more magic pen of 18 is way better then any of the other boost passive he already gets a lot of move speed with E 100% resist slow while in it and gets 8 sec taken off all ranks and he doesn't need attack speed. the only other boots you would buy are if they all ad get steelcaps or merc for all ap/tenacity cc other then that sorc shose lets him deal more damage and thats what blue kayn is for.

it also looks like the passive magic damage is not added on over kills at 13:11 his ult resets the passive and dose the magic damage when leaving the target but with swain already dead from the phy damage no magic damage is applied

so from start to 10 you had a dead rune and had 5 kills and starting a fight at bot at the 10 mark giving you 5 extra AD from 10-20 again started a team fight before 20 and got pushed back and lost some towers but got a few clean up kills and from this point you had 15 kill with 15 extra AD from 20-end of game you got to have 28 extra AD by the 30 min lasting about 55 sec with 28 kills out of your teams 36 kills total while gathering storm was wasted in this game I under stand its impotent to help not fall off in the end game with blue Kayn where scorch helps a lot more in early/fast games. yet had you had scorch would have buffed your magic damage about maybe ~840 damage assuming it activated on each kill alone and did the average damage of 30 for each. and while that may not look a lot remember this is all extra damage and looking at the team charts that about as much as a enchanter support did in magic damage and sona tends to be the most higher damage enchanter supports so that like having a team of 6 worth of damage.

@@trainhartent3837 so first first strike not good as a melee jangler by the time you get in rang to even land a skill you might have also been poked back knocking off your first strike while the yes you could land a skill and then rush to ult to get that 9% in your burst but then you waste the safety of the ult. kayn ult is more of a vlad pool or fizz pole its used to buy time for your cooldowns and its burst. next why not duskblade for starters you should never need to auto attack if you can kill them with your full combo if you burn every thing and still need to auto something you shouldn't be fighting that thing alone because you already lost. but thats for the on hit effect of duskblade for the inves why would you need it you already become untargetability from ult and if you need to run away thats what E for. ah but the passive +5 ability haste why most your core items already have all the haste you need like maybe red Kayn might get use out of it for his E but other then that this item doesn't really give kayn advantage he don't already have. prowler's claw power come not just the 15% boost to all of your damage for the next 3 sec (thats it alone is better then the 9% from first strike) the damage dose not rely on you auto attack but puts you in melee range if you need to and in range to hit all your skill but most of all its a *dash* allowing you to auto proc Sudden Impact with out having to use Q or blue R and you might think well duskblade gives stealth so it also proc it and yeah it dose at the end of your combo on a kill not at the start where the pen is needed most. lastly why dark harvest its the same reason why Zwag took gathering storm Blue kayn a hyper assassin and can one shoot any squishy champion he can get in range of. . . but if you get to 40min game and you haven't won yet its over the odds of you finding some one alone you can burst is gone you also need to play safer being the team smite so if you die to a bad engage you more or less give the enemy team a free barron or dragon its more of insurance that you need if the game hits late game you don't become worthless you will still fall off but not as hard the enemy team had a Swain A-sol Urgot give enough time they alone could 3v5 and kayn burst would do nothing to them.
