It was intentional. WD fully restores HP and MP, doesn't feed XP to Sniper who's dead, doesn't lose gold because of the innate, and gets free TP to get back to lane in 20 seconds. He misses two creeps and feeds some gold to Sniper, but this is a favorable trade for WD.
