Yeah, i agree with the chatter on game 2. That player definitely thought that using Dawn from the benched Darkrai to the active one would activate the ability on both for 40 damage. Gotta make sure u fully read all the cards! Haha

12.5% is now a terrifying number for me. I recently tried chain breeding Lileeps in Ruby and Sapphire. My 53 resets at the fossil dude before finding a female with the 12.5% chance had me questioning if Lileep was an all-male species, and if everything I'd seen in every website and guidebook was simply incorrect

If the game state is truly unwinnable but it'll take another 2-3 turns to reach 3 points, conceding is actually the polite behavior. No sense wasting 5+ minutes of both players time. There tend to be two types of rage concedes. 1. Mashing out the concede button as the opponent is using the winning attack. It's not even faster than letting the attack finish. 2. Conceding very early in a match from an ambiguous game state because something worked out poorly. Most of the clips in this video are just people being polite.

Plus with the way power creep goes it will generally be a solid plan to open up the most recent set and build something largely from that. It will definitely get tougher, but I'm not sure it'll be all that much harder than it currently is free to play

19:35 For completely new players, I personally would go with Charizard packs. It has essentially everything you need to make a competent Blaine deck, with Blaine himself, Ninetales, Rapidash, and Magmar all available as 2 diamond or lower. Mythical Island can tack on the Poison Claws Salazzle and the coin flip Ponyta/Rapidash too. It also has the Celebi/Serperior deck largely self contained, but that's also looking for 2 rares and 2 Ex's at least. I personally found a lot of success with the Blaine deck getting me through the solo missions, which give you a LOT of exp and other rewards. Charizard also has Sabrina, Hitmonchan, Erika, Greninja, and Kangaskhan, and the Ex cards you could pull are all good if not great.

I think you have like ~87% chance to mess up opponent's energy. So as soon as you get Porygon Z online you have super high chance of winning right away. Most decks heavily rely on their energy type but would be funny facing against Dragonite team who keep being unlucky and gets only electric energy and you give them water and they win.

At 16:09 i want to point out that you can get the darkrai mat even without premium pass assuming you did the free trial and saved up the tickets from the pass :) And since these items arent limited as well you can get a premium pass in the future if you decide you want the cosmetic later on. Only the monthly promo is tied to the pass and is a limited item (ie the piplup full art)

porygon z is annoying for darkrai user, well for most elemental deck also: charizard, celebi, machamp, blaine, pikachu, pachirizu, venusaur and can slow down mewtwo/mew-gardevoir combo deck. but porygon z wont affect dialga-melmetal deck, yanmega deck, water misty/manapy-based deck, and magnezone, and these 4 are also meta right now, so a lot meta deck to counter porygon z
