As a teacher in a country with insanely low supply and a permanent contract, who saves and lacks assets, a recession would be the best thing possible gor me, and likely a good percentage of regular working and middle class folks who arent invested in debt and assets. Recessions are considered evil because the wealthy elites and investors who control the narrative serve to lose the most from them.

We are taught to work for the wealthy aka the capitalists, but we are not taught how to be wealthy aka to use capitalism. We are taught to work for the Warren Buffet’s of the world, we are not taught to BECOME the Warren Buffet of the world. You’re a teacher, surrounded by teachers really think about what the kids get taught. Why was the board of education really formed? Are students prepared only to get a job after finishing high school or do they also learn how to start and run their own business? Do any of your students know how to start a business? Copyright law? I agree on this because my groceries that I get most commonly at Safeway now are getting back to where they were pre-inflation. I think the only difference now is about a dollar per item. I think I peak inflation. It was five dollars extra an item example my burrito, breakfast packs used to be 8.99 and now they’re 9.99

The only 2 outcomes I see: 1) the fed continues to tighten/ remain restrictive and bankruptcies increase, while the jobs & stock market tank or 2) the Fed loosens policy and inflation reignites as the dollar weakens. The US economy can only be as strong as the global economy allows it.
