Nice look at the Chevy Malibu. The design is amazing. Really good-looking car. It's just unfortunate the build quality does not match. I purchased a car for my wife two years ago and another for myself a few months ago. Both sedans. Both just over 30k. I didn't even consider a Malibu. That is an indictment.

Give it a try! The competition has seriously caught up in terms of feel so I can’t necessarily blame you, but in 2016 when this generation came out it was at the top of its class. You can get some serious discounts on this outgoing model but yes, it’d be nice for Chevy to have improved the Malibu how Honda and Toyota have improved the accord and Camry. Preferably while keeping a non hybrid option 👍🏼

i bought a new 2 liter model malibu with 9 speed automatic and its really fast. i think 2.0 liter model is way to go because no one will expect this car to be faster than bmw 520 or mercedes e300 but it is and its very pleasing

I'm surprised that GM has stuck with the Malibu as long as it has. Ford discontinued the Fusion a while ago and I thought the Malibu would have been soon after.

You can get the Malibu RS in my area for $23,000 all day long right now. For that price, I would definitely consider it for a daily driver.

This car needs the redesign but unfortunately wouldn't happen as GM is planning to end production of the Malibu by November 2024 with a very short 2025 MY being produced

@@WTFCRLT1 let me brag about it because it was the best car I ever owned or leased. 0 to 60 and 5.7 seconds fast as a back in the day muscle car. Would drive itself around the city or interstate np. And it drove like a dream. Beautiful pearl white speckled paint job . Man I miss that car more than any woman I ever met

Took my 23 Malibu LT for a service to Ferman Chevrolet and they were absolutely no help, horrible customer service. Nice of them to let you test drive, but I would have your vehicle serviced somewhere else. Morgan was much better

It's still exactly like my 2018 malibu lt, all they did was just add uglier tail lights and uglier front spoiler. I like mine better. I'll just modify mine and it'll look better than this 2025. Toi bad they're discontinuing the malibu, it's really nice car.

Still the anemic 1 5 litter 160 hp can’t understand why Chevy can’t put a better motor with more horse powder for the last three of those model down that motor. I love this car, not worth money.

2017 Chevy Malibu lasted me 150km, cracked cylinder, needed whole new engine, and gas pedal replaced 3 times 😂 engine was always one, price of shit car

I've been driving my 2022 Malibu LS in the city, highways, and I've also taken it out of state on super long road trips. The car is great on gas and drives smooth like butter. The only maintenance I do is regular oil change. I really don't think you have a clue about what you're talking.

@@joro7304I test drove a ‘24, and was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, and more comfortable than both the Accord and the Camry. Too bad Chevy stopped giving it the attention it needed.

@@sherrikwhiteside6107 Yep this car is superb for daily driving. The build quality of the Malibu is also stronger than the Camry and Accord. I once pushed my car over 100mph on the freeway and it still gripped the road rock solid. But I drove my uncle's 2025 Camry and it started shake at 90 mph, and I felt as if the car was about to get blown away by the wind! Chevy, Ford, and Chrysler should have kept all their sedans in the market and given them proper attention. Not everyone out there wants to drive an SUV.

Like the style but analog gauges and no heated steering wheel and no heated mirrors or blind spot monitoring for just over 30K gonna pass
