Indianapolis gets new skate park, first in 20 years

Skateboarding gets (mostly) young men into under used public spaces which is a great way to counter crime. Like the "south banks" spot in the UK. it's a sketchy looking area under a building that just has a couple ledges and natural concrete "banks", originally skateboarders weren't allowed there so instead drug addicts occupied it. Then skateboarding became allowed and now the spot is flooded with tourism.

I'll give it a 5 out of 10. It's probably a 3 out of 10 for California parks. But it's a 8 out of 10 for the midwest, which has no idea what skateboarding even is. You can blame that on Hunger skateparks.
