Thanks for playing my map. It was a map that I had not worked on for a while. I felt that it had too many features in it, and it was too overwhelming to have to read so much text. Also, I began making this map when I had little knowledge of the World Editor which is why some parts of this map are so janky and others seem better.

Too many features. Yeah. The most common rookie mistake is always trying to cram in as much as you can. I have made this mistake many a time. The truth is that less is more. Art is perfected when nothing can be taken away from it.

Ditto on the too many features regarding some of the item systems and hero duplicates; however, the boss fights and general design is pretty great! It was good fun playing the map for ourselves. The custom icons, currency, and other small touches add spice too. I see this being a real banger with some tweaks, hero merges, and better hub layout!

@@ZXtales23 Thanks. There are things about the map that I really do like such as the secondary power system (even though it was not executed well), the glyphs and the bossfights. I am currently working on a new map that has the same sorts of heroes (but no specs), all of their abilities scale of off stats and all have a chance to critical strike. The upgrade system will be much simpler and glyphs will be changed to talents, that will clearly state what they do so there is no fiddling around with different idols and figuring out what slots they go in. After I'm done with that map, I may go back to Mortal Hero Defense and release a 2.0 update, which will redesign all the heroes and add the scaling and critical strike system from the map I'm working on now.

​@@thehosphourian1733 Appreciate the response; that sounds intriguing, especially the stat scaling since that can be interesting to mire with boss mechanics that have you save/use skills at the right moment like MHD already does. Most important is it sounds like it's fun and a learning experience for you, the mapmaker. If any of our critiques can help, then all the better. I hope Wtii tries it out again cause for certain we will. Take your time with it, and keep it up!
