Yes, they're different, but when push comes to shove they're not all THAT different. My opinion, of course.

@@PPGlam Look there is limitation of what you can play. At some points you are going to run into things that sound similar. Intentional or not. BTW in this case they just thought it sounded cool but realized the similarity before they even released the album. They let specialist look in to it if they had the pull the song from the album but were assured that that was not needed.

Limitations exist, that is very true, however, if you choose to directly and unmistakably rip off a very well known 90s song that everyone is going to recognise immediately instead of coming up with something remotely interesting you are probably not at the hight of your creative powers and authenticity. Just in the last 8-10 years there's been a good bunch of hit songs using this EXACT fucking progression. It was good the first time, now it's just pathetic. But hey, nobody really cares in the end.

Ich bin schon ewig ein Fan. Seit "Ice Queen" und "Mother Earth". Aber diese Band wird ständig nur noch besser :-) "Faster" ist im Moment eines meiner Lieblingslieder. Ich hoffe, dass ihr trotz Kindererziehung, etc. weiter macht. Hoffentlich kann ich eure Band mal Live erleben.
