I think Mao is suffering from big pressure getting over Yuna and getting gilden medal. I hope Mao get rid of being nervous and be free to enjoy skating freely. Mao has big potential enough to show more.

On Mao Asada.... I think that Mao is suffering from undisclosed Injuries, Injuries that she must get fixed If she wants to go for the OGM, I think that the choreography was excellent this year, especially in the Long program, part of me was wishing that the Asada team would have kept this particular program for Sochi....In my opinion this program cleanly executed Is OGM worthy. Watching this program I had nightmares of Michelle Kwan 2006 In Turin when her body betrayed her & she couldn't perform

From what I know Miki Ando NEVER had MAJORS problems with the lutz jump. She was actually WELL KNOWN because of the lutzes! Back in the days Miki spent not only half season but a entire season to adjust her QUDRIPLE salchow the lutz was not a problem for her. Also, she spent so much time trying to HIT the triple lutz triple loop combination that the judges didn't accepted at 2010 Olympics!

Recently She got downgraded on her flip jumps so many times..! I Think She should work on not only triple axel but also the flip jumps.. BTW Her step sequence was choreographed well and she normally executed steps well but The event (Team trophy) made whole skaters too tired. She seemed exhausted.

@gksrnrdptjxorqo Do you see this attempted triple axel? In my opinion this is the PERFECT TWO FOOT LANDING! TOTALLY different that the other ones! And I'm not telling Mao shouldn't have been downgraded it's just that the downgrades of a touch down are smaller (much smaller) than the downgrades of a GENUINE two foot landing!

Should have? She tried. (She said she was working on it in a interview) Do you people even know how hard it is to change how one jumps? Especially if you were doing that way since she was little. Ha, figure skating fan or not, you wouldn't understand the extent of what you are saying if you yourself doesn't skate. And me? I DO skate, ever since I was nine and I still am.

Actually, she cannot do it soon. Bcuz mao has many sponsors and work.but I think Sochi to be the last Olympics for her. The following Olympic Games is opened in Korea 2018, and one not to participate in is a wise judgment.

You are making up nonsense. Mao simply needed a better coach. Most of her coaches did not meet up to the expectation of Mao Asada. She did great under Tarasova. She should have just stayed with her.

Even the first coach, that american one when Mao started having problem with the triple lutz, he said that nobody told her to change edges and she was going to keep on doing the way she had done her entire life! She didn't fired any coach beacuse of this adjusting triple lutz kinda thing! OMG from WHERE did you take that? Don't you get tired of telling lies about Mao?

Mao's rivals Suzuki Akiko and Murakami have better jumping technique than Mao Asada. Mao has NOT fixed her wrong triple jumps yet.
