I have seen so many great table tennis matches in my life but this is one is the best match I have ever seen. The Ping Gods have come down to earth and taken possession of the bodies of these two players to show us the ultimate table tennis ! No one will be able to play at such a level with such intensity on both forehand and backhand. Bless up !

F'n Slow yeah, 2 world championships, Olympic singles gold, 4 or 5 ittf grand finals and being close to breaking samsonov's recpord of world tour wins at the age of 29 is obviously overrated.

@@youhyunnam9426 His results are inflated due to lack of serious competition.Boll and Samsonov had good sucess against him despite being past their prime.Let's not talk about Wang Hao or Zhang Zhike. Had he played in the early 00's he would have had a career trajectory similar to Chen Qi a player who had an even bigger forehand but didn't achieve much.

@@dickn.ormous1064 samsonov's success against ma long was all during the early part of ma long's career. Samsonov's last win against ma long was probably in 2009. And from my memory, except for the 2017 world cup, timo boll never beat ma long since 2010 wtttc. No serious competition? Are you joking? When ma long plays a world tour, he is usually accompanied by members of the chinese top6 like fan zhendong, xu xin, zhang jike. If that's not serious competition, I don't know what is.

He is the first one who could beat ma long if he has another chance. He was even more fearless than Ma long in this game ! Fantastic ! Truly Bojan Tokic is a great competitor to Ma Long apart from other Chinese players like Fan Zhendong, Zhang Jike or Xu Xin. The reason I personally like to watch Bojan play with Ma Long is that Bojan always doesnt plays short, he also plays long shots and I like his backhand shots too. I am a little bit disappointed with the second set, when he just lost a set due to service error :( But finally, MaLong wins the sixth Game .... and is unbeatable.

Everyone needs to chill out about the apologizing for the edge/net ball thing. You don't get to see the whole scene between points. You only get to see Ma Long cheering. Tons of players cheer winning the point, and then will apologize as they are returning to the table for the next point. The Chinese tend to always be polite, so there is no reason to jump to conclusions. That having been said, this was a great match, Ma Long really had to work for the win.

bojan's racket is slow. that's why ma long is having trouble. the rebound doesn't come out as far and tokic has more control on returns. if you watch the ball movement and listen to the sound, tokic's side is really soft unless he's making a strong loop.

@molitatron We didn't see the whole time between the points. A lot of players will celebrate, but then right before they are about to be back at the table, they will lift up a arm or paddle to apologize. Net and edge balls are just a reality of the game, the pros have seen it a million times I don't think its that big of a deal
