3:00 the staging of the fight scene is terrific as XuBis acting shift dramatically from gentle and sweet to maximally aggressive. His acting is so natural as he sublimates his love for SuYu into rage at these aggressors : his face says a thousand words and feelings, his emotions are there there. He was a fencer, probably foil: small, fast, quick reflexes: I earned my 3 major letters also fencing but I can't act, but to be wooed by XuBi I will go to acting school.

Both the intensity and the tenderness of XuBis moods puts this well above Heroin, BUT it dies so while not catering to homosexual click baits. Here the kisses are so light as to be angelic. Even if this version is censored and even if it’s just bromance we see, IT DOESN’T MATTER, the series is already so good, the quality is amazing, the acting of the main leads and the whole cast is quite good. The series is well filmed, it shows great cinematography and dialogue. Not everything has to be about two boys kissing as we can appreciate a series taking into consideration everything. This one is so much better than many series that showcase explicit content. I’ve loved the 4 episodes released so far and I even loved Wu Bi’s interaction with Su Yu’s father, it was heartwarming 💕 The fighting scene was so cool. Wu Bi was such a badass 1:09 and Su Yu was really impressed. He’s the best 1:30. They are getting closer 8:02 and Wu Bi is opening up to Su Yu 6:13 and it’s about what pains him the most and Su Yu is willing to be there and listen 7:00 🥺 i love the emotions you can see in both of their eyes 7:10 7:14 the acting, it’s the heartfelt acting ^^

The wait for the Episodes 5 & 6 is killing me...!!! OMG...!! One more day... 🥵🥺😂😂😂 It is been a long time since I really wanted to see a Series so eagerly like this. 🤗 🤩 😉 Well... the fight scenes with WU BI from Episode 3 were excellently choreographed... and the actor XU BIN mastered then all very well. The novel writer Chai Ji Dan kept for him that fierce and strong GU HAI basic characteristic... and I found myself shouting at the TV screen in this moment 2:35 "Break his leg...!" like GU HAI was about to do in the Episode 4 of ADDICTION. 🥵 😏 The scene highlight on SU YU house's rooftop from Episode 4 here is very different from the one in ADDICTION, but in a good deep emotional way... as the main intention of Chai Ji Dan for this Series is made very clear at 5:51: 为什么... 我们不能有一个完整的家 - Wèishéme... Wǒmen bùnéng yǒu yīgè wánzhěng de jiā = Why can't we have a complete family? THIS is what connects everything in this Series.... something that was present in ADDICTION but not as dominant as is going to be here. This production follows a different path from ADDICTION... specially in the emotional level of the lead characters, both softer and fragiler emotionally than the GU HAI and BAI LOU YING we know. The actor Xu Bin (as Wu Bi) expresses very well the physical power of Gu Hai, but this time with a deeper emotional background, something that I missed in ADDICTION years before. The struggle of losing his mother at a very young age was never really deal with before, and this time we can see how strong the bound between mother and son was 6:05 to understand why WU BI despises the new wife of his father, and anyone related to her. The actor Zhang Jiong Min (as Su Yu) is a better created and balanced character compare to BAI LOU YING. The original was excellent in everything: academic, sports, fighting, singer, and even Mahjong. The absolute and perfect hero of any great saga. This time SU YU has been given some physical weakness, a key characterization that allows WU BI take action in Episode 3 and that way become closer to him as we see in the first scene highlight of this video. We have also a strong connector between the lead boys couple in this Series, and that is the statue that WU BI's mother created years before as SU YU's Birthday present. That statue is what connected WU BI with SU YU right away in Episode 1. That scene happens when SU YU is singing "Goodbye Lonely Heart" in the lyrics version by ANDY POWELL from 2013.... and feels like falling in love at first sight. Talking about it here 7:00 in this scene highlight of Episode 4 completes the circle of the opening Episodes and opens the doors for the next level in the relationship between SU YU and WU BI. This Series is going to have a very long path with a total of 24 Episodes of 35 minutes each. I want to see here in STAY WITH ME is the process of WU BI and SU YU falling in love and becoming the best they can possibly be for each other. This time the little girl Duo Duo will be like their little daughter way much more than just a little sister for both of them... and specially for WU BI who already developed a strong connection with her in Episode 4 not only because she embraced him as her new 哥哥 - GueGe = older brother, but because she also lacks a complete family of her own. I am sure later on the three of them together will become closest they can ever be of having a complete family of their own. XU BIN and ZHANG JIONG MIN are very convincing as high school teens around their 17's in this production; And their acting quality here is completely on point; for this revisited and extended script created by the novel writer CHAI JI DAN herself. But, after landing up at Episode 7-8, I, suddenly realized I was delightfully dragged into this bewitching quagmire of a classic recreation of one of BL's indelible prototype storyline.

I truly enjoy watching this version. I agree with one comment that doesn't have the intimacy of two people in love. I loved how they bonded with Duo duo three misfits themselves, making union as a family. You don't be blood..I keep going back to watch I usually do this until I stop..the only I hated the ending 💯 hoping for a season 2 hoping for cousin to go crazy for what did but about it let he would killed shu yu did really Wi Bi would let him live knowing that cousin take the one he loved..

Yes it's a bromance, but it's one worth watching because it is just sooooooo GOOOD 👍😊 The acting and everything is top notch, all the actors (including the little kids) are amazing in this series. 👍 And this wubin guy is one bad ass, see him kicking a__ is very hot 🔥 Also seeing him mad is hot as hell.🔥 One of the best series of 2023 so far. I give it a 10 out of 🔟. ♥️

I understand that your comment is based on what the law in INDIA sees for straight relationships in this context, BUT in China, and in the large majority of countries around the world the relationship between step siblings is accepted and legal; and therefor differs from the prejudice on this matter in INDIA. Maybe one day your country, and the others that have also such legal restriction for step siblings like Japan, is able to realize that is a mistake to criminalize this relationships and becomes more loving and understanding on this matter.
