I love watching snooker tournaments and I have to say, LeiLei really did a good job portraying his role. All his actions and expressions really show what a snooker player does...his eye and body movement personalized the role. I can only confirm, once more, how very versatile Wu Lei is, as an actor FOR ANY ROLE.

I like watching snooker too. When I first read this book, I just had Mark Selby in my mind. Selby’s wife is also a snooker player. Selby proposed to her in Venice and they got married in Cancun I think. Lin’s proposal is as romantic as Selby’s. Selby also has a daughter. Indeed some coincidences, huh? But in reality life is never perfect. Selby was good but then at a low point of his career he admitted that he suffered from depression. His current form is quite disappointing. The book itself is very romantic, but same as the author’s other books, I have a feeling that the novel is better than the TV series. I do have some comments on Wu Lei’s performance too, but I think I better wait until I watch the entire series before I can make some fair comments.
