Wu Lei was worried people might not like Ling Buyi? No worries. Ling Buyi is my favorite character in the entire drama of _Love Like the Galaxy_ and one of my favorites ever. He's such a good, complex character. Really admire how smart/intelligent he is and how he's always a step ahead of everyone else. True that he has a very brutal, dark side but it is reserved for those who deserve it so it's okay. He would indeed make an impressive friend but a terrifying enemy. There are so many layers to his character and Wu Lei did such a fantastic job of bringing to life all the different layers. He's a very handsome actor and can portray feelings with his entire face, from his expressive eyes all the way to the twitching of his cheek muscles and popped veins when he's angry. And when he cries, he really cries. I'm a huge fan. Loved him so much as Ashile Sun in _The Long Ballad_ as well, and can't wait to see all his new projects ❤

Oh my word Wu Lei, you got Ling Buyi so right. I loved the complexity, perhaps because due to chronic illness I developed abandonment issues in childhood so I understood Cheng Shaosheng’s character quite well. My ex military partner saw some clips and commented on how the military mannerisms were on point.

It's so funny how in the drama, he talks slowly and rarely smiles but in real life he talks very fast and is always cracking jokes😄. I'm impressed with what he said about finding angles about his character and then using his intelligence and craftsmanship to give his character a holistic depth and warmth. It shows he's passionate about his art and dedicated to using a balance between reality and fiction to bring his character to life. When I listen to him, I can tell there's something special about him. He has this star effect and I know he will go very far as an actor and in general and I truly wish him all the best in his endeavours. Thanks for the subtitles. Watching and listening to Wu Lei's interview, I can't help but laugh profusely. My, Lei, you're something! I found you funny. Most especially when you said about staying away from Ling Buyi if you'll see him in real life😅😅😅😅. You and Lusi are a good match in this story because her acting is superb. Listening to you as you mentioned about the little details that would make a good impression in the eyes of your audience, I realized what a brilliant actor you are and a good director if you will try to direct your own movie. You're good at analyzing the script too. I am so impressed. It's very hard to put into words my great admiration for Love Like The Galaxy. But I hope you will work with Zhao Lusi again. Wu Lei is a really good actor. Everything that was needed in a scene he delivered very well. It helped that he has good chemistry with Lusi which made the experience of watching Love Like the Galaxy for me even better. He also got to understand his character really well and his emotions. Zisheng is a really complex character to play especially because he is supposed to be a tough guy, but he also has to show other sides of him like his caring side, his in-love side, his pained side, etc. without making it look like he's playing another character. It's still Zisheng but a different side of him.

Such an incredible performance. From my vantage point, there was not one facet of the character that was not presented beautifully. His posture and movement was perfect for this character, very dynamic in the most subtle authentic way. It’s hard to think of any performance of such a complex character that surpasses this. Leo WU Rocks .He is by far the best, most sexy, Chinese Male Actor. He deserves more Praise. Go Leo! After dumping this Drama at the beginning due to the disgusting treatment of the elders I am so glad I picked it up again 1 year later. It is a Magnificent Drama. Great expose of the Noble Classes and the uselssness of the Royal Offspring. I loved the Emperor and his two Empresses. All of the acting was superb. This is now at the top of my favourites alongside The Legend of Shen Li. So many Stunning Male Chinese Actors. I hope they don't all get infected with the South Korean Gay Men Virus. Female beauties though are few and far between. How the lead in Go Squid, who seems to dominate the best Dramas with glorious Male Leads, gets so many parts with Superb Male Leads when she is so plain and squeaky voiced defeats imagination. Sorry about that it really puts me off watching. On a more positive note Chinese and other Asian Dramas leave Hollywood for dead.
