Wu Tang Collection - Thunder Kick

Director: Yip Wing Chou
Cast: Larry Lee, Bolo Yeung, Yukio Sumeno, Lee Tien Ying.
The village of Chi Sien is threatened by some local gangsters asking those crossing the bridge to pay a tax. Chi Sien was showing some resistance but his mother asked him not to get into trouble and to remember how his father died. Meanwhile, Wong Kai Tai (a respected citizen of the town) is coming to the village searching for Chi Sien, invited by Chi’s mother to wait in the house, they soon get attacked by gangsters (Bolo with them) because they were looking to find Chi Sien and teach him a lesson. Wong Kai Tai started to fight against Bolo until Chi Sien arrived and kicked all the gangsters away from the house, after the fight Wong Kai Tai and Chi Sien decide to become blood brothers. Wong Kai Tai offered a house and some money to Chi Sien to help him and his mother to relocate to the new house. Wong Kai Tai’s mind was to get help from Chi Sien to fight the gangster in his home town, which is terrorized by three brothers of the "Dragon Gang". A day later, Wong leaves town, but he wants Chi Sien to visit him with his mother in a few months. Sadly, Wong’s house was attacked by the gangsters, his brother was severely injured and Wong was killed. Chi Sien arrived for the funeral of Wong Kai Tai, paid respect and promised revenge. The plan is to separate the three gangsters and take them down one by one.

To bad Bolo was always a bad guy and getting his ass kicked. He would of made an awesome hero. He could've been cast as a feared fighter that nobody would disrespect, and tear apart any foe that would challenge him. If anyone knows of a film where he's the protagonist, please let me know. Thanks.

People who really knew Chinese Kung Fu and martial arts in China. Not just in the film industry, but true martial artist. Always Claim that Larry Lee had a better overall.Technique than Bruce Lee. That may be true, but he was nowhere near as fast as Bruce Lee If you watch the 2, anyone can see that Have never seen no one as fasthas Bruce Lee in film or real life?

This film kinda reminds me of (1973) Film “Enter The Dragon” And (1972) “Fist of Fury” l Where Lee (Bruce Lee) Avenge His Sister’s Death And Get Revenge On O’Hara (Robert Wall) At Han’s Island Karate Tournament. And Chen Zhen (Bruce Lee) Goes To Ching Wu School And Avenge His Master’s Death, Then Decides To Get Revenge On The Japanese Karate Fighters And The Japanese Karate Masters. Chen Zhen (Larry Lee) Gets Revenge For His Brother’s Death.
