Nice going, it's good to see the EPS getting used, these are great machines. I find that, once knowing the machine it becomes fun to create music as the layout seems right for creative flow. Even the sequencer is very good. Also you could add an external synth driven by the EPS' sequencer to add tones the EPS cannot do.

This is a monster beat bro, love it! Was it difficult to learn this machine ? I’m on mpc 2500 but considering grabbing one of these.

Ensoniq made MONSTER samplers and gear..Of course I have the MIGHTY ASR10...
@SludgePumpHiPowerBeats2 жыл бұрын
you mean the slightly overrated asr10 ? (imho) I have the MIGHTY EPS Classic. the OG 13BIT EPS. it's the best out of all 4 ensoniq samplers. For people not to own it yet, it's your lucky era, where you can still pick them up cheap but don't think for a second the price won't sky rocket soon once people realise they're secret lofi weapons. No one can afford an sp1200 anymore sadly.

It’s a dope warm machine. But like most old electronics. It will have its issues. Like running hot. I had to put a fan behind mine just to keep it from not having as many errors popping up.
@TKSProductns5 жыл бұрын
Man i actually feared that upon purchasing but surprisingly ive rarely if at all had run hot. Even after leaving it on once all day. I wish the heat issues were the problem at least i could figure it out. Now i got a 70lb wall ornament sitting in the corner😁😁😁

Nice one 👍. Does the mpc 500 go pretty good? I’m a 1000 user, but would rather take the 500 on tour if it’s pretty similar.
@TKSProductns4 жыл бұрын
Tbh I'm a heavy MP user of several models and the 500 is usable. I have a few nitpicks, but it can get the job done if ya know MPs and for what bbn its worth. Not sure how it would hold up on tour. The OS can be quite buggy at times. And the main output is hella low. You'll need a mixer to push the volume. But try it out if you can b4 you commit to it I would say.
@slammingsamples88554 жыл бұрын
TK5RECORDS cool thanks for the info. I want to avoid buggy at all costs, So that’s good to know. 👍
@TKSProductns4 жыл бұрын
@@slammingsamples8855 also the 2000/2000xl may be the best for tour. The 2000s can support card readers now and 2000xls been had them. They would be rock solid on tour. Never had an issue from those 2 models. And they integrate effortlessly with most if not all software. But like I say just shop around to see what would be the best setup for you. Peace

Hi! Thanks for tips. Do you still have Ensoniq EPS? I bought one but I have random "ERROR 018 - REBOOT?". Also sometimes my sound on output disappears and I must reboot synth. Any idea please?
@TKSProductns6 жыл бұрын
Łukasz K no doubt bro. Anytime. I do have the eps still and currently speaking with some other users bc now I'm getting keyboard failed to calibrate error at startup. So it's currently out of commission. However my ppl let me there is a Facebook group dedicated to ensoniq users he said they really know their stuff. If u have a Facebook or not soon as I retrieve the link. I'd be happy to pass it ur way so u can get help too. But I'll look into it and check back with u. I'm trying to get mine back running. Don't wanna get rid of it but I feel u those errors are a pain in the ass lol
@imagods6 жыл бұрын
I also had error on startup. But it was expansion memory (I change bad capacitors). And now I only have ERROR 018 and sometimes dissapears audio on output. I'm on fb group facebook.com/groups/ensoniq/
@TKSProductns6 жыл бұрын
Łukasz K I've actually opened mine up not too long ago and to my surprise the thing was pristine diamond clean. My studio smoke free so that's plus. But I expected something to be wrong based on what I had researched. I was stuck . Nothing I mean nothing is outta place under the hood. I also have max memory but it was installed already when I purchased it. Guy I bought it from didn't even know it was installed! I stumbled on it checking my memory when I found out what 4096 block was to be sure I was seeing this right I hit him him back and asked him what it meant he said he didn't know. I told him thank you!!!!!!!!
