I mean it's fun to watch baby WuXie where he chase after his uncle and be taken care of by Xiaoge, Pangzi, Panzi and even Heiyi. Though he is not on the level of Zhang clan (those guys are a class of their own lol) but he can definitely hold his own. Not only can he fight he also have tricks up his sleeves. 😉😘😁

Zhu Yilong is perfect for 40 years-old Wu Xie, the man who had been through all, including the 10 years fighting an old enemy without his Xiaoge at his back. He accurately portrayed Wu Xie's playfulness and innate kindness, and the ruthlessness and lethal skills Wu Xie was forced to learn during said 10 years. He might not have been a good candidate for the younger, more naive Wu Xie in the other earlier Lost Tomb stories. But he is perfect here.

Compared to the other wu xie’s in the other parts of the series zhu yi long’s is the most badass, self reliant version. He can clearly protect himself while also being smart as fuck. The other wu xie’s are intelligent but they lack the strength to protect themselves and require xiao ge and pangzi 90 percent of the time

This Wu Xie is 'been there done that shit ten times and then some' kinda guy, Wu Xie who had to fight the battles for a decade without Xiao ge by his side, the matured, resilient, witty, sarcastic, badass Wu Xie. This is the smart as a whip and hot as hell Wu Xie. This Wu Xie still has the same caring nature and kindness, his heart is still too big, he doesn't want others hurt on his behalf. And this Wu Xie is the best version we can get, a battered man who's been through life but still kick asses. Zhu Yi Long was such a great actor who exceeded expectations of the fans with this role. I love this Iron triangle with this gem of a Wu Xie shining bright ❤

Dang!!! I am LOVING THIS!!! Usually it is the badassary of Xiaoge thats shown. But this is a video i didn't know i needed until i saw it. Thank you!!! Man he's so perfect for this role. We could clearly see his goofiness even at 40 and how much he has matured and become cunning as he grew old. Even though he still needs xiaoge to come save him sometimes, he can still hold on his own very well. The warehouse arc was a clear proof. Honestly he can be really scary and creepy at times cuz he does it with a laugh and he gets that little psycho look in his eyes. I died laughing in scenes when all three were together. And honestly...who would even believe that Wu xie likes girls or even will like one when he shows so much aversion to girl pics and getting married while he flirts so shamelessly with Xiaoge. I mean if i was there and was crushing on Wu xie, but saw wuxie's and xiaoge's interaction I would feel like Xiaoge is a very huge threat and competition. The scene at 1:07 man I died laughing. Xiaoge's look and Wu xie's mood! Plus the last.."wanna come in?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can never let go of these people. Can you do one Pingxie video with the Sam Smith's "Fire on Fire"? Please do consider. It’s freaking incredible!!! Wu Xie is one of my fav characters, also my fav role of Zhu Yilong (that beat even my baby Shen Wei 😭) he’s just so natural in it, it’s magic, true wu xie, and he was fanboying so much on set about the novels and was cutely terrorizing the author about it’s ending haha. True tho that you might not understand many things, since it’s based on novel #12 🌚 but my god it’s an awesome story and love story that’s hard to get away from, I truly recommend to get into it ☺️

Haha well, this part has waaaaaaay too many implications that censorship didn't really help them. like they censored a bit (with Bai who was also in love with him in the book), but the author wrote the script in a way that it made pingxie shine even more xD. So as ZYL the main pingxie fan said 'smart ppl we'll see the truth' haha. But honestly I don't think you even need to be smart to see it, bc they didn't hid very much with the amount ofinnuendoes, the fact that everyone knows about ZQ&WX there. They didn't try a lot tbh haha. At the end we still won, poor Bai just knew she wouldnt be able to beat that. Dude got drunk and called her Xiaoge lol. Censorship done right. Plus there's also Lui Sang who's hitting on Xiaoge, but knows that he's in love with Wu Xie and that he doesn't have a chance. They also played the part "when they look at each other, they know they're the one for each other" incredibly accurate haha So thanks to the author writing the script and zhu yilong and huang junjie being pingxie fanboys it went gayer than original book, that had almost none of their moments. In the book in this part he's actually still pretty unaware what his feelings actually are. All he knows is that he wants to be next to him and that when he's not, it's horrible, but he can't add 1+1 sadly. Like he gets jealous when he sees him with someone else, he wants him to always be near him, he takes his even slight emotional pain as a literal stab to his own heart, he wants him to stay, he's literally all that he's thinking about, but he doesn't like get it get it. And the fact that in the book its literally impossible for them to end up happy doesn't really help him. Like Xiaoge I'm 100% sure knows that he's in love with him, he just doesn't act on it bc of that reason, but Wu Xie is still like "yeah, I want him. what do you mean as in dating? whats that?". So he's like a 40 years old virgin, poor babe still lost. Here author rewrote the script to give them a possibility for a happy ending and they saty together finally, I cried a bit. But its honestly the best part, idk how you haven't watched it yet. Acting is amazing ZYL gave it all being Wu Xie's fanboy, the fact that author of the book wrote the script and told them all about pingxie love, incredible chemistry.. just everything

The author of the book said that they're meant to be, in his recent interview he was talking about how Zhang Qiling slowly fell for Wu Xie bc of the immense strength of his character and how when he looks at him, he knows that he's the one for him. So year, they're boys in love, but if you're not into painful longing, who still didn't get together, even though its book 12, and constatly separated, it might not be for you. But their love story is incredible, it's just epic and like the author says "they're each other's whole world". There's actually a moment in the books when he tells him "there's only one thing that connects me with this world. it's only you." You can check my previous vids about pingxie aka a ship china is obsessed with for more than 10 years and waits for them to get together. The Reboot script was rewritten by the book's author to get them a happy ending, so here they actually living together at the end:) When they were forced to separate Wu Xie promised to wait for him for 10 years and he did, this part is set after that. In the books he's still unaware of his feelings, he is in psysical pain when they're apart and he gets jealous when someone is next to him, he also always wants to be with him, but sadly Wei Wuxian style, he doesn't get what it is and in the last book he's still a 40 years old virgin, who doesn't get why he only wants him haha. Here I think he's more aware of it, he's just scared its not possible. Anyways, ZYL and HJJ's chemistry is incredible they're both pingxie fanboys, and ZYL said that he hopes despite everything, ppl will see the real deal :) Bai was in love with him in the book too, so here they kinda used her as a cencorship tool, but he's still thinking about Xiaoge only during the whole series and he keeps him alive here, and at the end she knows she can't have it haha
