@@handheldlightreviews both places are good for testing. Since these flashlights are used in dark places.. and you have those two perfect spots to tedt them. I love you how you manually choose the aperture of your camera to calibrate the darkness there. Have you or could you tell us or sale us what you are doing for navigation lights. The thought occurred to me that the small magnetic ones mentioned here with red and green filters could possibly be used?

My thought was using little Wuben X0 lights for navigation lights. Create a stainless steal plate with colored filters and a USB plug for each light. The cost would probably be absurd. But keep them charged and if you ever lose power, each light has an awesome battery. But how many lumins are needed for navigation lights is a thought. And then how long at that level would the charge last?

It isn't just a color difference, the flashlights are made out of different materials. The aluminum version is the cheapest option, with the titanium versions being more expense as Ti is a more expensive material, and more expensive to work with.

I tried the coupon code for the white one and got less than $7 off. I went to Amazon instead and they had a 15% off coupon, so basically the same, but free shipping and you accrue points if you have their card.

@@handheldlightreviews Yeah, the code didn't work, but I had Amazon points to burn so I went that route. Sorry I couldn't help you brother. Side note, the pocket clip is aluminum and very rigid, I'm looking to swap it out for a sling steel one, just gotta find a pocket knife clip with the same hole spacing.

I've run different cells in that X0 without issues. That includes USB-A~C & USB C~C. They should have more faith in their hardware. 😶

Why do they get more expensive with different colors? Sketchy.

It costs more to get those colours. White and black are alu but with different finishes. The gold is brass, grey is ti, green is ti with coating and print, cracked is ti with coating and print.

Not sketchy at all; simply a reflection of the cost of the materials and manufacturing costs being higher.
