I am a police officer, and I use this as my one and only flashlight. It's small, so it can clip to your vest, but bright enough to be used as your primary light source. Great deal. I will usually lose it after about a year or so, and I just buy a new one. The only thing I don't like is the power button also dims the light, so you have to sort of train yourself on the button, but for a $30 light, I'll take it any day

Buy an EDC holster like the gentlestache. Mine holds my l50 my cobratec otf knife my kepeak pen and my keys all on one tough leather pouch that has survived harsh work conditions for almost 2 years now

Good review Mr. Charles! I just bought this flashlight for 17€ on amazon black friday deal. Absolutely love it, i like the body finish, its smooth and just slide thru my pocket. A little bit downside is without clip or lanyard, it rolls in the table.(my clip and lanyard is always attached btw.) Your review sold me this flashlight. I wouldn't go buy anything for more than 20€ really. i just use it for a 20mins walk, 1.5 km everynight going home. My question is can this flashlight accepts two rcr123a??. . .wuben says it can use 2 cr123a (that will be 6volts),. How about 2 rcr123a or 2 18350? ( that will atleast 8volts fully charge). Did you try or Do you think this device can handle it?. Thanks in advance.

The original L50 had very good runtimes on a higher mAh cell but used a Cree LED. The OSRAM also has a better beam kelvin in my opinion. Take care.
