It sounds like the Earthquake chest is still bugged and is not applying all multipliers to its slam explosion so its currently better to just wear it for the bonus, but not proc it and let earthquakes run out naturally to do more damage.

MASSIVE buff not mentioned here: the Masterworking cache from the bartering NPC at The Den; in S6 it dropped 20 obducite, but now with the Seasonal Blessings (one of the 5 "ashes" buffs) maxed, I opened one to test and it dropped 750 obducite. I spent the rest of my bartering coins refreshing the stock and buying all of them, and they all dropped between 750 and 1250 obducite each. I ended up with 8.5k obducite in a matter of seconds.

If u still have that crashes, you could take a look at your "C" Volume / Partition. D4 somehow keeps writing cachefiles multiple Mbs to hundreds big into that (Basically everytime you teleport or enter something). If "C" than run out of disk space the game will crash but D4 falsely shows you that you've run out of Vram.

I've found that teleporting or going to a town from a dungeon freezes with a half load out. I hope it's fixed soon. Apparently tied in with accessing the battle pass internally. First time I've activated it and it's happening, looking at the fenris debug logs, it gives a disconnect on load

With regards to gem fragments. I really don't understand Blizzard's thinking with this, I mean it makes no sense. Blizzard always does this; They give us too many when there's nothing to use them for, but when more are needed they give us too few of them. Surely more should drop now, considering we're having to spend 70-80k for the occult gems, on top of the normal gems and legendary glyph unlocks. Blizzard love to do things backwards, to the point where I genuinely think they love to screw people over.

The gem drop nerfs are understandable cuz you'd get max gems way too fast and then never worry about it again, same with runes, plus you can convert for gems you want anyway, the infernal compass nerf kinda sucks but understandable since it gives lots and lots of xp I guess? But the gambling nerf sucks a lot, but i guess it incentivizes grinding bosses for them instead of just farming obols, but this kinda makes obols worthless other than to buy whispering keys

Yeah, but keep in mind. He's one of those guys that blasts more game hours in the first week or so than the vast majority of players will play for the whole season. If he isn't even close to certain caps after a few days then most players have zero chance of doing it.

The hordes dont give much xp, 100s speed (pit) is the way to grind to 300, everything else is hilarious exp once u hit 270

But the gems are not interesting. It is a small flat stat boost that does nothing interesting to your character. It should not be THE endgame chase item. Never understood nerfing gem fragments. Last season I was fully decked out in Mythics on two characters before I got to upgrade my gems. Makes no sense.

The gem fragment nerf makes no sense. You now need gem fragments more than ever for: - Upgrading a glyph to legendary - Crafting Grand gems - Crafting Occult gems, especially legendary ones at 100k diamond fragments each!! So there are more ways than ever to spend them, yet they nerfed the most reliable source (Infernal Hordes) AND they removed the ability to convert one gem fragment type to another. I understand the progression is too fast and they need something to make players grind for, but I think it makes much more sense for the progression curve from Torment 1 to Torment 4 to be smoothed out and feel much more meaningful, rather than the current end game which is just farming gem fragments and restless rot.

Yeah i also noticed a decrease in the amount of ancestral legendary drops i thinks dev's lowered the drop rate..... i got to torment 1 difficulty yesterday and started on my grind for ancestral's and in my first 60 levels of Paragon i seen a total of 2 ancestral legendary drop's on torment 1.... 60 Paragon levels for 2 ancestral legendary item's??? come on i mean that drop rate is ridiculous i swear i feel like there is a bug with ancestral legendary drop rates, I don't know if it has to do with me only being on torment 1 right now but i swear last season when i made it to this point i had way more ancestral legendary's dropping i don't know if its just me with bad RNG but drop rates have to be bugged, i'm thinking it's to do with me being on Torment 1 but i can't help but feel like somethings bugged.

There are so many systems in D4 that just plain suck. The gem fragments are another example. The enchanting system is so horrendously brutal with the insane gold cost. Hex of whispers being disabled may be affecting you here. Since it’s disabled it will not count toward your 3 growth and decay powers, you’ll need to add a 4th or remove the hex of whispers and put a different growth and decay in.

I wanted to mention that there is a gem fragments converter at the alchemist. You can exchange, I believe 3 gem types for one that you need. I hope this helps some of you out. Keep slaying those demons, in this case, headrotten.

That’s a casual player, that also plays in hard-core mode, I would always be in lack of gem fragments. For fear of dying, I would barely craft perfect gems, even if I had the fragments. And if I did have the fragments, it would be two max. I’m not sure if others had the problem as the streamers, but instead of lowering the drop rates of the jam fragments, I think they should just implement a loot filter. That would solve all the problems. Casual players can have as much gem fragments as they want, and blasters don’t need to be bothered with all the clutter.

I've also noticed loading screens taking longer, performance directly after a loading screen being quite poor, and I've had issues with the game just hard freezing for 3-5 seconds at a time out of nowhere. I haven't hard crashed yet, but performance this season has not been good.

@ it's not a crash per se. You get black screen with UI when you couldn't port. On some configs it's constant, on some it will never happen. So it's only on portals but it's not fixed for like 5 months. Bug is posted in blizzard forums from basically summer and still not fixed. Seems like rumours that microsoft-blizzard fired all qa and ptr is just for this purpose are true.

@@masterchief9005 Let me guess, BloodWave necro? They can literally nuke the screen at any difficulty. Cringeborn 2.0. This season while not bad it highlights how incompentant the studio is. The disabling the hex of whisper power then actually allowing people to be able to purchasce the skill and not unlock it while costing players their currency is unexcusable. Fixing it is fine but don't allow people to waste currency on a power they can't unlock.

@@maulressurected4405 Nah it was Cataclysm Druid. Apparently something is bugged that is allowing infinite damage scaling. Highest Blood Wave clear is 140 atm.
