Did anyone observes when Maimai gives smart responses, she’s very articulate with soft voice showing her calm personality? I've been watching some interactions and interviews of Wu Lei's Previous FL and I can say he is different with Mai Mai, he is careful on being playful with her. And Mai Mai take him seriously not in a bad way. I remember on one interview Wu Lei saying that he looks dumb with his focus face on playing billiards and Mai Mai didn't laugh while he is making a face and Mai Mai said that's how we look like when we are focus playing.. ahhh whatever I just support this CP hopefully they work again soon maybe in a reality show.

I really like it when they use their real voices in their roles. I’ve seen some dramas where the actor is so young, but hair and makeup makes him look older and then they dub in a more mature voice over that looks so bad and doesn’t match.

It was rumored in Chinese Media the could have known each other as early as Jun 2022 as some news broke out that they would both be leads for AASOL. MaiMai was offered the script first then it was offered to Wu Lei. Both knew they would be costars and signed on for the drama. Considering both are child stars and actors who do more serious films, it was surprise that both agreed to do this drama considering all the steamy scenes in the novel 😊❤ it was also rumored that MaiMai 's mom is very involved in her career, like Wu Lei's mom. MaiMai's mom approved of WL as lead for AASOL and was even on set with MaiMai for part of that time.
