honestly for your first art level, this is really cool! Love your effect style mixed with this art style, something you could do is in the first part. each layer of lava could have a different speed, like one could have 0.9, one could have 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 etc... so theres more variation

I could recommend you just to put the blocks in the first part above the two last layers of lava, so it looks that the blocks are emerging from the lava... I just think it would look better.

This is just my personal preference and idk if it would look good in the actual level but it looks fire in my mind: What I think would look sick is if there were some really big fireballs that were kaybe faster that went on t4 to cover everything. They would also of course have a less amount of them but they should also flicker the least. Then gradually as you go backwards the layer for these fireballs changes to be lower (which you already had) and the farther back you go the smaller the fireballs get and the more they flicker. Dunno why me with no creator points is giving you tips but ngl I think I'm onto something.

A good thing to do if you want to get rid of the shader effects in the editor, theres an option to disable them in the screen with the "resume" "save and play/exit" buttons. Off on the left-hand side, on the column of check boxes, there's a box labeled "preview shaders" that disables/enables shaders in the editor.

A tip from another art creator,try and sketch your ideeas on paper or an art program and make more of a vision insted of an ideea(a vision is when you know exactly how your part is gonna look like) Good luck. Edit:ik is kinda late but you can make a banger cuz you know colors

1:56 Speaking of start positions, I have a question about them. I like making sync layouts and in one i got pretty far into it so i put down a start pos after some building i played the level from the start and the sync was totally off when i played with the start pos again it was how it should've been. Is there a way to fix this?

You did not cook with that new part... Volcano's base lacks any detail, same with "lava" coming down(quote on quote because it looks more like diаrrhеа rather than lava) making it amalgamate together into one not so good looking pile of objects. Randomly fadin in and out meteors also don't work, do the chaotically get closer and further from us? Also they move way too slow for their size, and the lack of parallax makes it look like they are equally distant from us and that combined with random fades makes the perception of them really awkward

It's a lot time consuming to me because I did the layout first before, but soon after I tried to do decoration and the custom background to have some sort of timings in it because of the trigger commands. But yeah, it will get used to it once someones confident with it. 🧡
