I just turned 30 a few days ago and all I can say is you grow soooo much in your 20’s. Get to yourself first there’s no harm in waiting..there’s plenty of time in your 30’s to find the right father/husband THEN have kids !

I had my first child 9 years ago when I was 26 (I turned 27 a month after giving birth). I was in a relationship but felt very single due to the nature of it-it wasn’t positive at all. Luckily, my daughter was a textbook easy baby, which made motherhood a lovely experience for me. Fast forward 9 years, and now I’m in a new relationship, 36 years old with twin babies (his first). Honestly, I do feel like motherhood was easier 9 years ago because I was younger. But when you have a baby or babies, you feel like they were always around, and you can't imagine life without them. As much as I’m grateful for my twins, it feels harder now than it did when I was 27, even with my current partner who is incredibly amazing and supportive and even now that I have more money than I did 9 years ago. I like what Audrey said about being ready ready! There is no perfect time to have children other than the time that is right for you! To any woman wanting children, no matter your age, I believe that one important thing is the person you have them with. A supportive partner can make a huge difference in creating a positive experience of motherhood X

Ima be real I was blessed to find my husband at 20.. first child at 24 second at 26 last at 32… and honestly there’s no difference… I was tired for every single one… it’s about you and your partner and what’s right for you. Whatever stage of life you are… choose your partner wisely… ❤ 18 years later with my fella….that’s the most important thing.

Yes. There are pros to having them later. You have discernment when choosing a partner. You also don’t feel as if you’re losing out on anything in terms of enjoyment (you get to discover yourself and give yourself the chance of also fulfilling your dreams/ laying your foundation). Also ladies, if you can.. please get your hormonal/ fertility levels checked & look into egg freezing if you can afford to do so. We are lucky to live in the UK where it’s reasonably priced (it does go up every year though). So do it when and if you can. 🙏🏽 Edit: never mind she already said. 😂😂

Awww I love this chat. I'm so happy I did it later in life too. I remember when I was younger I used to pray over my womb when bathing I feel like those prayers manifested in my family 🙏💘
