Very nice test review. I own the Wurkkos HD16 (along with HD50, HD20 and HD15) and the Sofirn HS21. All are great headlamps with special advantages and disadvantages in special situation. For tracking I found the mode dial of the HD16 ideal. For this purpose you set the brightness and can change flood / spot when you need it. In my opinion it is the better solution for this applikation.

When you switch to floodlight on the HS21 it's very yellow before returning to white. I would highly recommend using a manual white balance of 5000K.

Your videos help a lot, thanks! Do i get it right, no instant turbo or red from off? I would prefer to have the rotary switch as mode selector to access red as well. I hate when they are changing the switch logic beetween modes. In a headlamp I want quick, instant access from off to moonlight, memory & turbo in each seperate color. Basically the old Anduril UI + rotary mode selector would be awesome. Also the rotary switch could be used for a safe manual lockout.

I prefer HIGH CRI, so I was looking at the Wurkkos HD50, but the Sofirn HS21 and Wurkkos HD16 also look pretty good. Among those three products, which one would you recommend the most? Maximum brightness is not that important to me (in fact, consistent brightness is more important). I’m looking for light that spreads as widely as possible with a high CRI. I'm not sure how to express it, but I prefer light that shines broadly rather than having strong directional light.

I totally agree, it would be better if the knob adjuster is for the brightness level.. That would be awesome. Its a shame the knob is for light modes 😅

I wish two knobs (or rotating ring, slider): One for light modes (spot, flood, spot+flood, red) and one for brightness level (including maybe SOS, strobe).

สวัสดีครับ เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่งครับ ผมแจ้งทางสปอนเซอร์ที่ให้ของผมมาแล้วครับ ว่าควรจะปรับให้ปุ่มหมุนด้านข้างสามารถปรับระดับแสงได้เหมือนแสงแดง เขารับฟังแล้ว ถ้าแก้ไขได้ก็น่าจะได้เห็นในรุ่นต่อๆไปครับ ขอบคุณที่รับชมครับ ฝากติดตามช่องหน่อยนะครับ 😊🙏
