This light is a beast. And I just couldn't pass up that deal with 30% off. I ordered it this morning. Hard to find a better deal for this kind of power for $39 bucks. Great review Charles as always.

@@CharlesBridgTec Really great torch. It's everything I knew it would be and what your reviewed showed it to be. Really nice design. Built like a tank. Compact enough where its just the right size. Easy straight fwd UI and super bright! Clearly one of the best deals you can get in quality torch like this what that kind of power and juice to run it. Another homerun from Wurkkos.

I got mine sometime back in May, a few weeks after it was announced. I learned the TS23 was originally the defunct and lesser known Aplos T03 model, which Wurkkos took over and replaced its firmware with their own, therefore it's not a 100% copy-and-paste job. 🙂 What I like about the TS23 is that its ramped down level from Turbo is brighter than the High setting and it sustains the High admirably. Must be due to those efficient cooling fins. Too bad it lacks a smooth ramping mode, since the Sofirn SC33 has ramping. A 5000K tint option would be welcome too, if Cree made a warmer version of the XHP 70D. I hope to see someone compare the original Aplos T03 to the Wurkkos TS23 someday!

A lot of these new lights using the XHP 70.3 Hi LED, and I am liking them very much. PS I get here to this review from Facebook, I think YT notifications are screwing up again.

When it cycles down from Turbo, does it look like it stabilizes right at High mode? Or does it drop below it?

@@CharlesBridgTec My neighbor spent around $8000 two yrs ago for what was supposed to be long lasting modern fencing and the back side is already warping as well falling over. So yes it is holding out better over where you test your flashlights. That Wurrkos TS23 I must admit looks like a good little beast of a light for its size. Will it really hold 5000 lumens turbo for around 2.5 hours?

I recommend the Sofirn sc33. It’s basically the same light with a smaller head. Slightly less throw but has a 5200 lumen turbo mode. I own both lights. I use the Wurkkos for work and the Sofirn for EDC.

For a tactical flashlight it sure steps down pretty fast. I think wurkkos needs to remake this light. I mean sure its powerful for 30 seconds but drops fast.

@@CharlesBridgTec Well thanks for the light demo. Just irks me that Amazon shows the runtimes and other information as being something it's not. For example Amazon's description said 2 hours on turbo, high, medium and low. Then went on to say it had over 1000 meter throw. Now on Wurkkos it states all the same accept the throw was 450 meters. I still bought one because I like the simple UI and I have the TS22 that has been a solid pocket light. Don't take what I stated as a negative. Like you I have more flashlights than I know what to do with.
