My boss was a "special police officer" in DC and he now owns a security company that tries to act like cops. Patrol cars with push bumpers, light bars with reds and ambers, sirens, wanting to get trunked radios and use them without a license. Im not liked at my job for not going with the program.

Special Police Officers are law enforcement officers. He identified himself as DC Police (MPD). Can’t do that. Also he had red and blue lights as a SPO, you can only have blue, yellow, and white lights. Also he was in Maryland outside of his jurisdiction. Can’t do that. That’s why he got Impersonating a PO. If you assault a SPO in DC you get charged with assault on a security guard. Nope. You get charged with assault on a POLICE OFFICER, cause they are Law Enforcement on their contracted property.

On a power trip so he was actually acting like a real police officer seems be a lot of that these days police officer stopping an ID and people for walking down the street when it is not a stop and ID state cars being pulled over and searched because they just happened to be the make and model of a car stopped at a meth house so they pulled over every make and model that has the same color instead of stopping the car in front of the meth house while at the meth house but instead use it as an excuse to harass citizens and it's going on all over the country talk about a power trip maybe we should defund the police since they can't seem to follow the law
