In its early days, Tampa's University of South Florida's radio station featured a very popular overnight program titled "The Underground Railroad". On this night in 1970, the featured artists were Arthur, Hurley & Gottlieb., a newly-formed group who played that evening under the name Jeffrey Arthur & Friends.
This 15-minute audio clip presents a sample of this versatile group's superb instrumentation and singing. (The unpublished program runs about 56 minutes.) Jeff's fellow group members were Mike Hurley & Neil Gottlieb.
Regrettably, we don't know the name of the program's host.
Some old postcards of Tampa appear in the video just to provide something for the listener to look at!. Email: dwtpa97 "at" Verizon.net
