Wuthering Heights - Cover by Agostina Pombo

The first time I heard this song I was amazed by the unique sound and style. Knowing Emily Brontë's book Wuthering Heights, I thought that Kate Bush perfectly portrayed and captured the character of Cathy as well as her experiences that occur throughout the tragic love story.

A very interesting interpretation - so different from the original. You have an excellent highpitched sopraano register at your disposal. I think the cover singers shy of putting themselves in the whole horror, the sadness and Cathy the ghosts bitterness and despair. Cathy is not an opera primadonna, she a revengeful ghost who has "come to put it right" I find it hard to believe that Kate Bush and her only is able to combine the singing skills and the interpretation of this ghastly story. This being said, I've heard several covers of Wuthering Heights. Three of them were enjoyable and yours is one of them. You are a scandalously skilled singer.

Thank you! I enjoyed doing it even though I was nervous. I guess the only way I could give an explanation for Kate capturing the meaning more is that she has written it to suit her own style. Her voice and sound is very unique and she knows how to use it well ☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed my cover version ✨
