Firmament might've been a prelude to whatever she's up to in Rinascita, they like to build up to bigger plots and set things up in earlier stories after all. I do agree there needs to be involvement from more characters in the story than just the banner focus character of the patch, hopefully it'll be better with 2.0. Immersion mode should be triggered by a hotkey rather than the annoying little eye icon and get rid of the fps monitor while they;re at it, so close to perfection.

i'm so happy for 7:26 i've been suggesting this in surveys for a while. if the update drops on a weekday it will usually take me 2-3 days before i can go through the Main Story so if ever i pull for new Resonators who needed the new boss drop, then it will take a bit for them to be ascended. also, a bad new player experience from another game prompted me to suggest this. i'm pretty hyped for Hyperreal Carlotta! she hit 2 conditions that i wanted, a 5* pistol user and an ice attacker. it's also a HUGE plus that she looks great and an old design of Camellya.

I *need* more (permanent) co-op content!.. I'm not sure if this is something that Kuro is stealthily working to expand in the midst of all these great additions, but it absolutely needs to be done. The untapped potential there is ridiculous. Even something as small as a special feature where players could call fellow resonators for help when struggling with an overworld boss or crimson-glowing enemy would be great for those of us looking to further use the characters we spent a hefty amount of time building.

I mean to be fair, the villains aren't the main problem in WuWa's story. The overarching main focus is the Lament repeating over and over again, inevitably destroying civilizations. All we know for now is that the Fractsidus seek to accelerate the Lament and/or aspects of it like the Threnodian. They're only linked to the problem without being the problem themselves (so far).

Yeah the villains aren't the main story, they are more just part of the world building, just like in genshin we're going to get more story for them later down the line, giving too much story for the villains now would just derail the main plot and mean that more villains would have to be made and quicker

2.0 for me is the beginning of the real Wuthering Waves, and the livestream further solidified my belief. 1.0 as per what we know got 90% of it rewritten months before WuWa released, it showed when several things in the story didn't match well, characters not having an appearance(Curacha and Danjin) some characters were not fleshed out well(Yuanwu, Taoqi etc.) The companion quests and 1.2-1.4 filler stories literally were better than some parts of the main story, the main story that was good were the parts that Scar,Jiyan and Jinhsi were completely involved Now they implemented a skip story mode so that newer players can just jump into 2.0 if they want to with whatever basic knowledge they have in the first few acts in 1.0 before they can skip it.

It's kind of late, but I wish the antagonist's group had more screen time or featured their point of view during the 1.2 to 1.4 story to keep players interested, instead of just mentioning the Artificial Resonator at the end of 1.1 then dip. Also, Feedback to the 2.0 Livestream, I think they should've shown something related to gameplay more in the Livestream to reduce the reading part in the patch notes, Such as the flight mechanic (stamina, etc.), an infographic to summarize the new Sonata Effects, the attack animations for Nightmare Echoes, a preview for the new bosses, and some exclusive gameplay.

Huge update! I'm looking forward to to 2.0! Thank God for that synthesizer update and converter. Coming from HSR, i was wondering why we couldn't have those and I'm pretty sure I asked for it via the survey. Glad they were listening. Also, I'm praying I get Carlota early so I can also get Jinhsi. I skipped her for Changli the first time. I don't regret it as Changli and Yinlin are my favorite waifus in the game but it would be nice to have Jinhsi's firepower for ToA. Edit: Feels bad I didn't know about the codes.
