To be fair, ambient tracks in this game are kind of lackluster except for the main city's theme and maybe two other ones. Though bosses have absolute bangers, which just cannot be denied.

It's much harder and requires more focus in Nier, DMC games, MGR or even recent FFXVI but you still hear the music perfectly, as it complements the expirience in the best way possible. Granted WuWa's tracks not on the same level, but it also feels that there's some kind of filter or something that adjusts music volume in combar for hits and effects

A question suddenly occurred to me: what if we took every boss theme and put it into a fight against the stellaron hunter Sam? It seems that all of the boss themes fit quite well after listening to them. Now, here's another question: what makes each boss theme stand out if they all fit for one boss? If all they have done is create boss themes that couldn't symbolize specific entities, it's hard for me to rate them, no matter how catchy they are. (Keep in mind that I love EDM and I'm not a musician, so these are just my perspectives.)

My ratings to those. Scar - 10/10. Intense, dynamic, catchy and good for his character. Heron - 4/10. Just a dubstep, doesn't have really unique moments or culmination. Aix - 3/10. I'm disappointed with this one, because it's out of their character. They're mourning, but it's just another dubstep with bad build up and culmination. More sad vibes and bird sounds would be good. Thundering - 7/10. Pretty good and intense theme. Falling off a bit in the end, abd doesn't really have good beginning either, but carried by build up and culmination. Mech - 8/10. Pretty good theme, with clunky sounds to represent an abomination it's. But falling off strong in the end with... Isn't that normal battle theme? Rider - 6/10. Pretty simple and fitting theme for a biker monster. It's too short tho. Turta - 5/10. It's fitting... But you expect much more from this genre, so it's a good theme in any other type, but action. Build up is bad. Missed opportunity to not add giant bell sounds into the theme itself. Monke - 6/10. It's a good theme, don't get me wrong. But you expect more... Ape-shet type of music usually, when fighting big apes. Crownless - 10/10. Good build up to a triumphant culmination. If we remember the context in firsr beta, it's even better. Bug - 7/10. I mean, it's alright, don't really have anything to say.

Man they're good but it doesn't hit when Vanguard isn't doing the OST's i mean not hearing any of the Vocals from Kinoko or just any type of Angelic Biblical Vocals at all just doesn't do it for me after hearing, Dust, Lamia, Narwhal, Hikari, Polaris Bond, Moonlit Occultation and Last Resort, they're still pretty good, but in my opinion they don't hit as hard anymore.

Some of this bosses don't fit the style of the music choice like Mourning AIx why give something badass to a depressed bird. After playing its lore quest, it felt really off and can't connect well to its lore. Unlike the others

Hmmmm... most of the boss battle BGM sounds the same to my ears. Not my taste maybe. But I do love the one for Mech Adomination, Inferno Rider, Feilian Beringal and Lampylume Myriad. The Feilian Beringal one gave me the same vibe when fighting a mini boss monster in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.

I love the game because of the quality gameplay and story although I dislike this genre of music. Dub-step just doesn't have the same expressions as orchestral music. Too many noises and percussions being repeated... and these sounds aren't even natural 😭
